Hey guys,

I am planning a big mmj grow. Big in my terms. 49 flowering, 50 veg.

I will be building a special structure for this endeavor and am not sure about my design. I would like some feedback from the pros.

Here are my ideas:

A building that is 24'x36' with 3 12'x19' rooms side by side with a long hallway that is approx 5'" wide the entire length of the building (36').

Room 1:

Light times: 18hrs light, 6 hours dark.

In the first room, I plan to use this as the starting point for all of my plants including my clones & seedlings.

I am thinking 6 tables with 8 plants each with 2, 4' dual bulb fluorescent lights 1000w (total or each not sure yet).

I was planning on using a flat white paint on the walls and this white rubbery paint for the ceiling. In addition to that, I was wondering if adding Foylon would be of benefit. The floor will be concrete (open to suggestions with price in mind).

I was thinking of a small shelf for the other 2 plants/seedlings - i call them precious little babes.

As far as temp regulation (hot & cold), ventilation, air circulation & co2, I am completely lost.

I thought of a wall mounted air conditioner but I am concerned about unauthorized bugs, mites and thrips taking a free ride.

Room 2:

I was thinking of the exact same setup except for the first week I would have 14hrs light & 10hrs dark then after the first week 12/12.

Not sure how long this stage will take (flowering) before I need to move these to the third room which will be my dying room.

Room 3/4:

I was thinking of placing a room divider or wall splitting the room into 2 with the following dimensions:

10x12 for the dying room & 8x12 for the drying room.

I have not gotten far enough as to design these rooms but I do have a few ideas. I thought before I go any further, I should consult the pros for ideas.

I don't want to be a mooch or anything, but I do sincerely need assistance. I usually try to do things on my own and figure it out, but I would prefer to do this right from the start. I appreciate any help I can get.

I have a few questions outlined that might or might not be answered in the materials I ordered:

What type of lights?

I commonly see these square type lights in pictures of commercial or well done grow rooms. A reference would be the underground grow room in Pineapple Express (near the end).

What type of electrical diagram do I need and what is the power consumption I should expect?

To Limit my power consumption, I was thinking of using LED lights or even a generator for periods of the day.

For intake air, should I have a wall mounted A/C in each room?

For bugs and such while this is being built, I will be spraying fungicide and insecticide as well as placing silicone in the framing before the insulation goes up to seal all the cracks before the drywall.

If I use 6" insulation, will this keep it too hot during the summer months?

For weather conditions, think of Colorado (this will be legal so I don't care to disclose my location).

How many fans per room? how many hours should they run?

Is co2 recommended for this grow? What is the cost, and possible instructions?

Finally, I will attach a some designs that I have been working on to help visualize. Please don't think I am ignoring you if I don;t respond quickly, I travel a lot so it may be a day or so.

Again guys, I have searched for large grow room specs on the net and I can only find closet space designs or small scale or the some $120,000 designs. I would like to spend less than 25,000 including the cost of the building which can range between 10,000 and 20,000.
