I just got 50 durban poison seeds from a good friend of mine from Mendo. Said they are they are considered 100% sativa. I think imma do a hardcore SCROG with them. That might be my first diary here.

I was hoping to cash in on some old school seeds they advertised in high times, I have been out of growing for some time now and have lost track of all the names and strains, and what they mean. Columbian Gold, Panama Red. Highland Nepalese, Vietnamese Black, Chocolate Thai, These would be cool just to have and to collect. However I am sure there must be a strain that captures the best of these, might it be bohdi? Or perhaps, Congo Pointe Noire, I am so confused, I just don't want Couch lock or to fall asleep

Hi and welcome to the farm Sativus. If I had just a few of the seeds that I threw away from the strains that you mentioned I and LOTS of other folks would be very happy.
Almost inpossible to find the real deal this late in the game.
Almost, most of us old folks are still looking!
Worthy goal IMO.
You might check out the Connoisseur Genetics forum and check out the SSSDH threads located there.
I believe the SSSDH to be a strong representation of what you are asking for.
Good luck.

If you're looking for a Chocolate Thai I'd recommend checking out DNA's Chocolope (Chocolate Thai female x Cannalope male).

DJ Short worked many of the old school strains into his modern hybrids. F-13 and Flo are highly praised.

Reeferman also has some killer Sativa strains to choose from. You can find his strains here or at Hemp Depot.

Personally, one of my favorites is Kali Mist by Serious seeds. You can also find this sold as Western Winds from Sagarmatha.
