Greetings Londinium
Thank you for posting these diagrams; it has been my experience that pictorials are a helpful tool in initiating the novice into the realm of Genetics and these examples are a fine start.
Just a small point of clarity: The second diagram pertains to the frequency of phenotypic expression for a co-dominant trait in the F2 generation, given the simple parameters as stipulated.
In this example we see in the F2: 25% Dominant; 25% Recessive; 50% Co-dominant. In the example, 25% Red Flowers; 25% White Flowers; 50% Pink Flowers. It should be noted that 'Pink' is a co-dominant expression in this example.
'Normally' one would expect to see in the F2: 25% Homozygous Dominant; 25% Recessive; 50% Heterozygous Dominant. In the example, that would translate into 75% Red Flowers; 25% White Flowers.
For further illustration note the third diagram, in particular the frequency of the 'dominant traits' in the F2.
Sincerely,
Charles.
