Unfortunately we have had to ban one of our affiliated breeders.

Elite Genetics was brought to the farm after a public poll was posted.

And he proved to be popular by sweeping the poll at a staggering 42 / 8 votes.

Shortly after we allowed him to sell his genetics at THCBay and to have his own help desk.

Now breeders have very similar forum user privileges as moderators as therefore have to abide by the same rules. One has to remain unbiased, fair, justified and overall positive in all actions one undertakes.

Sometimes however, personal issues can (and will) pop up that make simple moderation and even conversation impossible. As with Elite Genetics, he was unhappy that a respected canna community member and THCFarmer moderator found a hermaphrodite within his purchase of genetics. A post was simply made about his findings. Not to whinge or whine, just to report.

Elite Genetics disliked his findings and decided to abuse his powers by deleting said posts and closing the threads in which the post was made.

This is a clear abuse of his moderation powers. He was warned over his actions and allowed to continue on as normal.

Then after a further closure of the same thread, Elite Genetics has been banned. Permanently.

THCBay will list the last of the Elite Genetics stocks we have over the next few days. And all monies owed will be forwarded on to Elite Genetics.

I find it most saddening that we have had to take such drastic action. But, the THCFarmer forums were setup for the quest of learning and reading / posting valuable truthful information about all aspects of cannabis. Without the constant over moderation by power users with differing opinions as found on various other canna forums.

So let this be a warning to all power users (Breeders, Moderators) that any such action will result in a first and final warning. A second offense resulting in PERMANENT BAN.

Please let this be the last negative post I make this year!

Its an unfortunate situation, but I back your decision Logic. Elite obviously has some kick ass genetics, but I followed Dagga's Lemon Larry thread and the way Elite handled that situation was inappropriate. Thanks for keeping us all in line Logic.

It happens guys, only one person should be staring at his shoes right now, kicking the dirt, and he's banned. You were, at least publicly (and no doubt in private too), more than reasonable throughout his tenure here. As we all witnessed, internet etiquette was not his strong point right from the beginning. Enough of that shit though, on to 09'!

Sad, cause I think EG had some fine genetics! But he missed his chance! And damn what is he thinking! Can't understand, he should know Zoo and Herb are for sure 2 people that have all our deepest respect and I would say in our whole canna community! He should have the balls to see and say the truth! Nobody would have killed him, if he truly stated, yes they can hermie!

It's always tough to split ways with people you have grown to trust, and yet i give you guys a lot of respect for dealing with issues swiftly without making public spectacle of it.

In the future hopefully this serves as a guide of what not to do when you want to be a breeder.
