The following rules are for everyone's benefit. While we don't censor the forums, we want to keep them full of quality postings, and don't want to waste people's time with postings of NO VALUE.

You must agree to these conditions to become a member.

1. Illegal Postings: Postings that are illegal in themselves, such as Child Pornography, drug dealing or other illegal activities, images or information are not allowed. You accept full responsibility for what you post as we cannot be held liable for the activities of others on our sites. Remember, Big Brother is watching everything on the Internet!

2. Duplicate/Repetitive Postings: Duplicate postings with identical or similar text are not allowed. Click only ONCE on the submit button, and your posting will appear. A new page will load showing your posting. This is your confirmation that it has been posted! Do not resubmit a posting that has been verified! Duplicate postings will be removed.


3. Flaming/Trolling: Flames are posts intended to insult and provoke. Posters who speak incessantly and/or rabidly on some relatively uninteresting subject or with a patently ridiculous attitude will be banned. Repeated posts directed with hostility at a particular person or group of people or their beliefs will be cause for banning. Any individual who chronically trolls, who regularly posts arguments, flames or personal attacks for no other purpose than to annoy someone or disrupt a discussion will be banned. Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in learning about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait.

4. Obscene/Pornographic/Violent postings: Unless these contribute something useful to the discussions, they will be deleted.

5. Off Topic Postings: Often people post remarks that have nothing to do with the subject of the forum. These will be moved or deleted at the discretion of the moderator.

6. Threads or posts pertaining to the buying/selling/trading/swapping/testing/giving of seeds, clones, pollen, cannabis, hash, or any other substance or article is not permitted in open forum by members and will be deleted. Threads or posts pertaining to the 'recreational use' of narcotic substances is not permitted in open forum by members and will be deleted. Threads or posts soliciting any of the aforementioned shall be deleted and the posting member will be banned from the site. Wish lists of varieties placed in posts, threads, or the members 'signature line' area will be deleted by admin as doing so is deemed an attempt to circumvent site policy regarding solicitations.

7. Spamming: Those who come here and post numerous links to other commercial websites, forums, chatrooms or communities, without actually contributing any content to this website will be banned without notice. It's fine to post an occasional interesting link to another website, in the context of a thread's subject, but to only do that, or to do it repeatedly, is not allowed. If you have your own website, you cannot put the URL in your profile or display it in your signature, for to do so would be advertising and there are approval avenues to follow regarding advertising on thcfarmer. Any unauthorized advertisements to any web sites will be deleted and if a member persists in posting un-authourized advertising (Spam)....then that member will be banned.

8. Banning: People who violate these forum guidelines repeatedly are subject to banning. Once someone has been banned from the site, we do not allow complaints about it. Once banned, we are done with that individual, and no amount of complaining from other members will help. We don't need to justify our bans. This only causes more work for the moderators, which is usually the reason for the person being banned in the first place. So those who complain about a banishment, are subject to being banned themselves.

9. Status: As long as you respect our rules you will be a welcome member of this website. Those who have chosen to join our community and support what we stand for will be accorded the rights of full membership. Members who abuse their status may see it changed back to Guest as a warning that their behavior is unnacceptable. Further abuse will lead to banning.

10. The Posting of personal messages(P.M.'s) and e-mails (or part's there-of) in open forums sent to you on this site or any other is strictly frowned upon/not considered good etiquette and will lead to the offending member being banished from this site....posting of members' personal info is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate banning. P.M. clarification: ANY personal message sent by one member to another through the P.M. system or Rep Point system, both of which are not public and shared between a private system between members (not in open forum).

11. Forwarding of Private Messages (P.M.'s) shall not take place without the original sender of the P.M. giving the member who wishes to forward that private information permission 'prior' to the P.M. being forwarded. Any member who forwards a P.M. to another member without first obtaining permission from the original sender will be banned should the original sender of that P.M. make a valid complaint to Admin.

12. Threads or posts pertaining to religious or political discussions meant to incite or flame others will be closed and/or deleted. Thcfarmer is an international site attracting members from a multitude of religious and political backgrounds, so in favor of harmony and unity, rather than division, it is best to stay on the topic of this site....cannabis. There is a forum for law/politics as it pertains to cannabis.

13. Off-site links to other websites that are controlled by servers that are out of our control and are not based in a canna tolerant country could possibly be there to harvest growers IP's so compromising the security of our members. Admin will delete any links to off server websites as a security precaution to safeguard the security of all members.

14. Effective immediately there is a minimum post count of 50 required prior to being able to send/receive private messages. Those who attempt to circumvent the minimum post count by turbo posting, or making posts with no worthwhile contribution, will have their posts deleted; repeated turbo posting will result in banning. Effective immediately due to multiple violations and disrespect of forum guideline #15, members circumventing this policy (for example turbo posting...or posting text of little to no content, or duplicate posts) will have their post count reset to zero by admin as a warning. Repeated posting to circumvent policy will result in banning.

Other than these restrictions, people are free to post whatever they choose. This is a FREE SPEECH site and we respect people's right to have their say.

No Private Sales! No Begging for freebies! A breeder has brought to our attention that some members are trying to enter into private deals on purchasing seeds from our affiliated breeders via the THCFarmer PM system.

This is absolutely against THCFarmer terms of use. This negates all security put in place by THCBay to protect YOU - the member, the breeder and the site as a whole.

Any breeder that receives such request via PM is obligated to inform THCFarmer admin. This type of breach of the TOU's will result in their account being banned.

Beta testing is a different area, and again, no such requests should be made by a member to beta test a breeders seeds. This again has correct channels to follow, to which the breeders are fully aware.

Finally, NO asking breeders or fellow members for free seeds from either their huge seed stock pile or private breeding projects. This falls under the same PRIVATE TRADING ruling, and we ask any member who is approached by someone asking for free seeds to contact admin with all details.

It disappoints me that I have to post such messages, but where security is concerned, needs must!

I know it is only a minority of members who are abusing our site rules (these rules are the same as on most canna forums), but please can I ask you ALL to read our Terms Of Use, if EVER you are unsure of whether you should be proceeding with an action that may result in a ban, or potentially YOUR BUST!!
