Some stupid people have been talking about swapping cuts in public.

We will not tollerate dealing or exchanging any substances that are illegal or controlled under law ie: this means, making offers or requests of/for illegal drugs, clones or pollen.

Ignoring this rule will always lead to a ban from thcfarmer. No second chances , no exceptions - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

I have to say something about this policy (quoted above). It concerns me that the reason behind this is because it compromises the commercial aspect of the site, breeders, seed sales etc. For as long as I can recall growers have been exchanging cuttings as a means of spreading strains around FOR FREE! Some members here are PERSONAL friends of mine, not just 'web' friends and I have no hesitation in exchanging clones with my friends! You run a (very good) site full of images of cannabis plants and yet you insist on this HG420policy (that many never agreed with!) of not mentioning clone exchanges! Seems slightly odd to me I have to say!

Now I'm just settling in here but if commercial consideration over rides freedom to grow and exchange cuttings then I may have to go elsewhere because I cant be a hypocrite. Take the UK exodus cheese for example, how comes so many of us are growing it? ....simply because its been passed around from grower to grower.......that was the Exodus ideal my friend, to spread the clones FOR FREE.

This may well see me banned here so I'll hold off updating my threads! But I ask you to reconsider this policy or at least amend it to a more realistic guideline?

We all do it and everyone knows we all do it, why pretend it doesnt happen?

of course in the perfect world we could swap genetics, but in this day and age its not something that a website wants to get flack for, its a criminal offence and your ass can be dragged back to the states for it. imagine if u were logic and have this website, think of the security risks he has to take to get this place online and now it gets fucked up cause some guys cant talk among themselves via pm, then you threat to not update your posts....

cannabis forums are to make links, but it remains a underground business so you have to take the precautions to keep the fuzz away.
openly discussing the fact that you received clones from other members jepodizes the security of the forum,
all the cannabis forums have this policy of course,
if you are still not convinced then leave and join a cannabis forum that tolerates clone swapping openly.

Thanks for the quick reply Logic. I respect the fact that its your site, I've had my say so I'll fall back into line I've been campaigning for legalisation for over 25 years, freedom of speech is vital and I respect the fact that you did not delete my post. Hopefully you see where I'm coming from.

Different society I guess! Here in the UK at demonstrations people openly smoke cannabis, last month 'Pinky' of 'Protest London' was filmed smoking a joint in Downing Street while talking to police as were other demonstrators, Metropolitan police guidance on the day was " PLease keep all rolling etc away from the public eye", not a single search or arrest all day long! Do you see my point? Thats the way forward, Pinky openly asks for 'donations' on his forum, hes running the forum not to make money but to raise awareness, otherwise how can we ever see a change in an unjust law?

MG's post has rattled me! I'm a pro legalisation campaigner Logic, I cant and wont be a hypocrite. I was honestly unaware this was a US forum, I thought it was UK based! I still cant quite grasp it though...... its OK to talk about growing cannabis, smoking cannabis, buying seeds etc but not OK to talk about exchanging a couple of cuttings! OH well, I'll go pack my bag and have a tidy up

Legalise cannabis Alliance are organising numerous 'Smokey Bears Picnics', I'll be at St.Marys Bay beach, Romney Marsh, Kent, from 1pm onwards, look out for the GREEN flag if anyone wants to come along and meet up for a smoke, food and music. many others across the UK on the day.
