Method One - The Attachment Manager

Step 1: When you click reply to a forum posting you are in quick edit mode. To attach images you need to be in advanced mode, so first of all click on 'Go Advanced'.




Step 2: Now you're in advanced mode, scroll down until you see the 'Manage Attachments' button. Click on it to open the attachment window.



Step 3-6: This is the attachments window. From here you can upload any images you want to THCF. Click on 'Choose File' and then select the image you want to upload from your computer. When you select the image to upload you'll see that the image name appears in the attachments window where it used to say 'choose file'. This means you have successfully specified a file - if it's not the one you want, just click on it again and choose the one you do want. Repeat this procedure until you have specified all the images you want to upload, and then click 'Upload Images'. If you have more than 10 images to upload, do them 10 at a time, clicking on 'Upload Images' after each 10 until you're done.









Step 7: Once you've finished uploading images, close the window by clicking on the X in the top right hand corner. You can review your uploaded images at the main page - see the image below:



Step 8 and 9: Once you are happy with the uploaded images it's time to insert them into your message. To insert the uploaded images, click on the little arrow next to the paperclip and a drop down box will appear with all your uploaded images listed. Either click 'Insert All' or select them individually. As you do this they will appear in the text of your message as references with "ATTACH" tags either side of the message number. Don't worry about what this means - when you click 'Preview Message' it will show your images in glorious technicolour. If you're happy click 'Save Message'. Grats, you've just uploaded images

ello i uploaded some fotos in reefermans forum burmaberry mothers and clones but the fotos need to be rotated can you explain to me how to do that using the edit function.... thanx

All editing needs to be done outside of THCF before you upload them as I don't think the gallery will allow you to rotate them, sorry.

I'm having trouble uploading pics. Error keeps coming up and reading file is to large or wrong mime. Any help?

I can't figure how to upload , getting same error as JJ-NYC - bad file or too large or wrong mime type . I guess it's too large ? , though I don't know how to resize them on a mac ?
