Bud has color and flavor all by itself, just grow it well and flush it well...bingo

Certain strains exhibit predictable traits in terms of taste and color. Taste is more consistent than color. Most strains that are predisposed to turn colors do so in specific environmental conditions (moderate cold being one). There are exceptions of course.

Like TK said above the most important thing for taste is a good flush! I go 3 weeks but alot of people do 2 weeks with good results as well.
Also ordering a flavorful strain, other than something strong and bland like a Hashplant should help in your quest for flavor. As far as color goes....who cares?? |
