Default Afghan and Dwarf Mix crop

I had to pop a couple of drawf mix beans into som eplugs the night I got em.

Around the same time I had a problem Afghan seedling finally take good root. That seed was planted the same time as my earlier crop but its growth was severly stunted for some reason. Its on track now with two main stalks coming up from the original sprout. This is the only Afghan I had live out of the 10 pack I bought so I held onto hope that it would live and it did.

Well I went too heavy on the poor buggers. I believe it was that I added too much Nirvana which overdosed the PPM and gunked up the rockwool. I think the plants were choking because they were quickly changing to yellow. I flushed and used minimal nutes. The next day it was much worse. I took out the plugs and noticed the worst looking plant had the gunkiest rockwool plug. I carefully extracted the remaining healthy roots from the rockwool under water and replaced the plug with fresh rockwool. I feel confident that at least one the dwarf mix will survive.

Well, the Dwarf Mix ( LowRyder 2 hybrid ) female was cut today. It was about 40-50 days after she showed pistils. I tried pollenating her with a male from the mix but I think the pollen sacks were under developed.

The buddage was all the way down, only a 1/4 inch between the bottom bud on the main stem and my medium. The plant was only 10 inches tall and had good buds on three offshoot stems. Barely any smell unless touched. Seems rot resistant since she stayed green on the lower leaves in places where my other plants had rotted from drip ring spit.

Pics - all four sides of the same plant.

She passes the smoke test with flying colors. Failed the snap test which means she still has another week or so of curing. Even so, the taste was pleasant both as bong hit and vaporizor. The resindue ( new term for resin residue ) collected from my electric grinder was the most I have seen from any weed I've ground with that grinder, and great quality too with very little plant matter. The high was on the strong side. cerebral, drifty mello high but I think it invoked more paranoia in me than my usual weed. For its size, this was also one of the better producers I've grown. I've only grown 5 strains but this dwarf seems to be easy to grow, quick finish, really great resin production, strong high, pleasant taste, rot resistant and you can keep it on anywhere from 12-20 hours of light per day. TWO THUMBS UP

Note: I am also growing a Deisel Ryder and it seems that topping it seems to delay flowering and thus lets you get a bigger plant before it autoflowers and stops growing.
