Second Crop Started

I have this friend of mine growing that marijuanna stuff.... Here is evidence of the evil things he has growing in his apt. :mad: :laugh:

While his two bagseed plants were flowering he had ordered some Indoor Mix seeds from Female Seeds. He lost the first set of 4 seeds due to overheating the water because of poor air circulation. He then popped the remaining 6 seeds from the Indoor Mix and 1 Afghan seed into an AeroGrow to germinate.

The indoor labeled mix consists of 10 female seeds:
Northern Light, Nev Haze, Grapefruit, Cinnamon

He had 5 that sprouted, one died of Sudden Seedling Death Syndrome and another is growing real slow, really really slow. Below are the pics

The front one is #5 and is still the same size almost a week later. My friend doesnt want to pluck it because its the only Afghan bean he has gotton to germinate out of 9 seeds ( 1 left )

Plant #1 Taken on 07/31/08 I am guessing its one of the Sativa's hybrids in the mix ... maybe Grapefruit

Plant #2 Taken on 07/31/08 I am guessing this is the Northern Lights

Plant #3 Taken on 07/31/08 I am guessing its one of the Sativa's hybrids ... maybe Jack Herher Cinnamon

Plant #4 This one died a sudden death ... I've had others do this too ..

Looks like a nice start. What lighting have ya got on those? I see LEDs!

The Flourescents that comes on the Aerogrow and a couple of 225 LED panels I got for $25 each on eBay. They are probably crap but I can see the seedlings leaning towards them so apparently they like it. I picked up 2 blue, 4 red and 2 mixed panels. I figure if they dont work good I can always decorate with them for my next party

Some spotting on the leaves of #1 and #3 but I cant get a good closeup pic to submit to the infirmary. I'll just keep an eye on em for now

Cool on the LEDs, those panels are not good for flowering, they lack the power and intensity, but should be fine for vegging. Be careful of using the red panels for vegging though, red causes stretching.

The spotting could be from ph, impossible to say without a closeup though.

I was going to use the 4 red LED panels around the bottom of the plants with hopes to help with lower bud formation. It ends up being a lot of electrical plugs too which is not very appealing.

These could be one of four strains from the Female Seeds Indoor Mix
- Nevs Haze
- GrapeFruit
- Northern Lights
- Cinnamon

Anyone out there grown this mix before?
See if you can guess which strain it is.,..
Answers will be revealed within the next month or so as these girls start to show some hints as to their origin during flower.

Looking really good Res. I had those brown spots too - mine was pH swings. I think if they're not appearing on new leaves you're fine....or rather, those of mine that suffered with the pH swings are fine now...just those older leaves look a bit shot.
