Hi,

Last Spannabis I had the pleasure to met ALT and I got a Payload Bags, a couple of filter bags and a mini washing machine.
This is my first run with this setup.
Before that, I use a set of xxxtractor bags and an electric mixer with nice result.
My conclussions are that enjoyed a lot with Payload Bags. With such amount of bags I can choose which ones are better for each variety and there are a few of them to filter the impurities that help a lot in the draining process.
What I didn’t really like is the washing machine… looks like it isn’t able to extract all the trics. The yield was inferior compared to the mixing machine.
Didn’t smoke the final product yet. Still drying.

I just checked 73-25 1ºrun + 160-25 2ºrun + 160-120 1ºrun and is quite nice, not FM.
120-73 1ºrun is in the freezer… “lo bueno, para el final”

When using a washing machine your yields will be somewhat lower because you are not breaking down any plant material, with electric beaters, therefore you are making a cleaner product.

Yes, I was thinking the same when I saw the color after to run the machine 15 min, and I decide to run it again -> first run 30 min. The color was exactly the same.
Then, I made a second run for 1 hour.
I stop but I could continue, the water wasn’t green al all, just the same color.

I put different sizes of ice in and out the bag but I took out the ones that where inside because the filter bag was floating on the water with all the grass outside.

What I mention is that with electric beaters, I’m breaking the trichs but not so plant material.
I mention it when I was pressing all pieces from the “low” grade (120-73 1ºrun didn’t pressed). Was way harder.

I find you get better results if you drain the water from the washing machine after after each 15 minute run. The longer you run the machine (IME), the lower the quality of the final product.

To keep the yield and quality 'high', I run the machine for 10-12 mins then drain into a set of filter bags (I use bubllebagsas they are easiest to obtain here). Subsequent runs of the machine are then filtered via a second set of bags, so the lower quality second, third etc runs doen't contaminate the higher grade first run.

well said chimera,also if ur goin 4 commercial yeilds we have washed 5-8 washes 2 get more bulking agents,these are seperate from the 1st runs..

Can anyone tell me how to clean the bags? I see people letting the bubble dry in the bag. Doesnt it clog the mesh?
