I have a sony DSC-V3 7.2 but its a couple years old. I was out front of my house today and just clicked off a couple quick pics to see if I can do any decent macros work. It doesnt really have a macros setting just says to zoom all the way out and stay 4 inches away or something like that.
Anyway, this is without a tripod, Tomorrow I will try with the tripod and see if theres a difference.

If you click on the photo a couple times it gets a lot bigger and on the clear part of the flower you can see the white pistols coming out. Hopefully it works this well with MJ an trich photos.
