i'm starting a new motherroom, i am in doubt if i shall use 2 x 400 watt or 3 x 250 watt. what do you think?

And what about those enerysaving lights.....?

if u want a serious mother room then 2x 400 watt with hpit bulbs would go good!

2x400 will be cheaer to buy... I would go for those energy saver lamps, the way electricity is getting more and more expensive, plus u get lesser heat which is nice...

I'm using fluoros for my mother room and even with a 2-tube brightwing it can get pretty warm in there. My mate who does this professionally only has those new energy saver bulbs in his mother room....for heat and energy reasons. Less HPS/MH in his mother room means more for veg/flower, if you're limited by the total wattage.

i use a 250 watt envirolite in my veg room. cooler than hid lamps so you can get the lamp really close to the plants:

THe question is how many babies do you want to procuce each week. An how muck elektricity can you use and be safe. 1 400 gives me around 100-150 babies a week. Good luck

i would need 200 cuts from 2 x 400 OR 200 cuts from 3 x 250

Go with one 400, you should make it. 12 pots in 11 liters vegged and topped continously for 7-8 weeks should do it for ya.
