Could probably crawl underneath to load it but it would still be a pain in the ass, when loading and cutting down i'd imagine.

Get some more pictures up later. I am having problems with a new "trick" I am trying, and I need a new pump...

Ok Q&A

I pulled 96 clones off 17 moms of Government Mule breed by Cannacopia growin by me Finalopagus, workin with it for about a year. Name change in order...

It is a DWC, the tubes have 1~2 inches of slow moving water. I ran NFT or a shallow stream of water thru the tubes before but root mass was small. I think truly it could be called a flood and drain now cuz the pump cycles. Labels...

Yea getin to the girls is hard but not that bad with one of those autoshop lie-on-yo-back with wheels Thinkin if I expand to 20 gonna put an I-beam down the middle to hang from

What I was tryin to do is increase/control depth in the tubes...
I took a 6" end cap and cut it in two, one larger then the other

Click the image to open in full size.

Then cut a slit down the center for water runoff. Glued the larger one to the "enter" end of tube and the smaller, slit one at the "exit" end of tube

Click the image to open in full size.

Now I can pump lots of water and raise water level inside tube or vice versa and it all flows back to 100gal rez

Girls go in 48 hours will post more pictures then. Also anybody cutin' holes in tubes, stagger the holes to give em' a little more room ie. I did all mine at 6" offset from end and would next time do half at 3" thus a stagger.

Im not certain but will algae not build up in that channel that runs back to the res after time, saying that when the plants are in there the foliage should stop any light getting to that channel, just a thought.

Man i can't wait to see this fired up

I have found that if the water moves fast e'nuf no bad things will grow. I think the cap at the "enter" end is going to get some greenslim, some standing water there.
But yes I will be puttin a cover (strip of poly) over the exit end and guttar after the plants go in. Good lookin out, also a little H2O2 helps keep the water "clean".

Reminds me of a video I had seen online, I Grow Cannabis by Mr. Green. Very very nice setup, chiming into this one.

I can't get the water to stop dripin' up the underside of the tubes at the "exit" end. Gonna try a drip line/rain catcher type thing... any ideas?

Pump should be here 72 hours or less and will get the girls in and get ya'll some pictures.

Man i wish i posted this earlier,

i made a similar set up but on a smaller scale, 4 x 1200mm long 6" upvc tubing, but with 2 x 'T' pieces and 2 x 'L' pieces, so it was all joined together, i got pics if ya don't get me but what im getting at is for the life of me i could not get it to stop dripping out of the end where i glued the end caps, even after i siliconed all the way round the end cap i could not fucking get it to stop dripping.

Naw it is not "leaking" from the end caps. The water is flowing back up the underside of the tube. As if you were pouring at sharp angle then came to a more level one. With a new pump the flowback (new-word) should only happen when I stop pumping and the system drains. Still a problem but at least I can start growing. As of now eta is 2~4 hours then a couple more to put together and smoke then pictures.
