i've also had a couple of faulty ballasts and they did the exact same thing as you described. freaked the hell out of me lol.. i guess that's not something to worry about.

gonna put ballasts up in the attic from now on.

thanks for clearing up the cool tube issue for me too. I thought sealed meant nothing going in our out. so the air is just passing through the room via the tubes, keeping the room itself sealed.

no problem, any time. If your going to run a sealed room i highly reccomend a co2 monitor. Set the desired ppm and leave it to do its job. I highly reccomend the igs-061, its cheap but very very effective. 1st crop it will pay you back 5 times what you spent !!
