i am planning on making a grow box 75cm 75cm 175 cm will this be big enough for a 250watt HPS and 2/3 ak48's or will i need a bigger box

Plenty of space imho. I'd go with 4 plants though and scrog them for max yield considering the light penetration of a 250w. Good luck!

i would go for a 400w in that space . 250w are fine for a 2ft sq space

uk- 250w can easily cover 4-6sq ft as primary lighting.

If those babies fill out 6ft tall they'll be thinning up to that light.

i've done crops of ak 47 in a box like yours with a 400w bulb, and the weed was great that came out, thats a great little way to learn kid, a few crops in that then you can move up to full rooms ha ha, be good . .

Your box size is fine, you'll grow more buds with a 400w hps.
