As for how much water oozes out when one pulls a leaf, all I ever get is just a slight wetness on my finger. A half-hour later, that leaf-stem is dry again.

I have no idea what their humidity is in their growrooms, or what strains they're running, but to be honest with you, I can't see the correlation between pulling a bunch of leaves and getting budrot.

Don't get me wrong GB, I'm not trying to say anything bad about anyone, just that I thnk their budrot had to have been caused by another factor, not pulling leaves.
i am betting the room was a tad to humid and the strain prone to rot . it was in a tent . so i think if he had not took the leaves off . the rot would be minimal or not at all ... i think the pressance of some moistour in the buds cause they were big . started his rot probs ...

i have not had this happen . but it does make sense in his case .

Yes I agree with your assesment there. I must have misunderstood before. I thought that he was trying to convince you that pulling fan leaves---and only the pulling of the fan leaves---was what was causing his mold problem. Sorry for my misunderstanding.

But the way you explained it above sounds about right. So that must have been the way it happened.

cheers m8 , here is an update for you ,
i have liked growing this plant , she is totally different from all the other strains i am growing , not a typical indoor highbred , got real old school look to her , i understand this is not the pheno people sort after , most would not choose this one outta a bunch of them , but i was just growing one plant out from seed 12 12 no veg ..
not keeping moms , just smoking them lol ...

check it out , behind all the leaves are some frosty calaxs and full coating of buds , smell is kinda how it looks , sweetish , green and resin ,

its the resin profile of this girl i am looking forward to ... if she tastes a bit to green , i got the feeling this pheno is better suited making hash from it , ill give her a spliff test , then dry sieve most and bubble the rest ... will update the hash in a week or 2 ..
