This is an upgraded selection of our valued former Afghan/Skunk. We improved the variety in 1997. The taste is softer than before and we managed to improve on yield. The Afghani (Mazar-i-Shariff) part is a very short christmastree- like plant, 100% Indica and very resinous. The F1-cross with Skunk#1 gives the variety a bigger yield and better taste. Very good “up” high. As both parents are very consistent, the offspring is very consistent too.

I ran 4 Mazar ladies a few years back, the quality was ok at best but that is beside the point. The buds are Hugemongus! this was back when I was a newb only running one 250hps in a m2, I veged \'em too long so they finished at 1.5m but god damn I had buds the size of my arm I yielded 10oz bone dry. Bottom line for production (1gram/watt) this strain can rock you, if only I had used co2.

I always wanted to try DP Mazar, but always end up ordering another of their excellent strains and putting off the Mazar. I got some free Mazar X ? from BCBD as a freebie with an order. Not sure how they will compare. I will give them a try this spring, I just have too many other strains to deal with right now.
