Curling Up Leaves On Tangie Strain

Hello everyone! I am new here and want to say thanks in advance for helping me out. We recently got mmj in our state and am growing! I have a tangie clone that I picked up and has been great untill I noticed the curling leaves. 3gal pot, ocean forest w perlite, run off ph at 6.5. I use ro water with cal mag set to about 200ish ppm. I usually go about 2-3 days in between watering. Under led lighting so temps are favorable. Humidity seems to be my issue 40-45%, so I hang wet towels to help raise it up. Take a look at the pics and let me know. Second pic is of the complete tent so you can see the setup. Thanks!!!

Humidity is decent, 55% is ideal. Are you checking your ph level after mixing your nutes?

I have not added any nutes. Was waiting for the ocean forest to deplete some before adding. When it does come time I will be setting the ph for nutes at 6.5. Was told ocean forest has enough in it for three weeks of so. Also noticed some roots are showing in the drainage holes so will move to 5gal this weekend, possibly next week

Really? I will be using sensi grow a+b. What ppm for starting is ideal. Also do the loser branches look yellow to you? I stare at them way too much

If the lighting gives it justice then yeslooks like it’s lightening. The large leaves are showing discoloring on the edges also. 6.0 ph throughout growth in soil and 55% humidity will treat your ladies well. As far depending on store bought soil and nutrients don’t believe everything they say. It all depends on the age of the soil if it’s sitting for some time it will degrade loosing nutrients. Watch your plants they’ll tell you when they need a boost.

Here is some updated pics of the girls. Moved the light up a few clicks to see if that helps. Made up some 6.0 water and gave them a mist. Noticed what looks like a little nute burn on some leaves of the smaller(runt) OG Kush. I have not fed ANY nutes to this point. Only planted in the 3gal pots using ocean forest and perlite. Some of the growth has a yellow tinge to it. The strains are Tangie, green kush, sour diesel, and og kush. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks for helping.

800-1000 ppm is ideal with sensi, add cal mag to their regiment as they will ride hard (tangie). Is heavy feeding so I’d start at 500ppm, then up cycle per feeding to 750 and then to 1000. Cal mag with every watering if using ro.
Ph 6.0 should be the goal. Get a bucket of ro water and use clip fan, over and across it as a stop gap to increase the humidity but once in flower, 40-50 % is ideal dropping to 30ish last 2 weeks, make denser buds..
Watch the grow to bloom feed with sensi, they completely cut of nitrogen. And 4th week into flower you will get early yellowing , I use to use them commercially and switched but one way around it. Is to Add 1/4 strenght grow with bloom when you start bloom into 5th week of flower and then 100% bloom only till last 2 weeks and then water only till end , let h her dry between feeding , don’t keep her too wet, allowing soil to get dry forces plants to use up nutrients and stopping lock out.
Curling, she is thirsty and dry. Bring up humidity and what’s the light distance from canopy?
Also get good airflow going.

I have great air flow. To me it seems a little too much but my 4” fan doesn’t have a lower setting. I am using ro water and adding cal mag to it for a ppm around 200ish. Light is 18” away from top of tallest plant. Was lower but just moved it up. The light I have is a full spectrum led, and from what I understand it is one of the better light units out. Maybe that is the whole issue. So you think I should start nutes? Will be using sensi grow A+B for veg. This doesn’t look like nute burn? Keep reading ffof is hot.

I think it’s close to starting to need feedings. Light distance is good for LeD. If you have access to a par meter that would tell you what the output is at canopy to lower stems.
Fox farm is usually good to about 2 weeks of veg. And they do tend to be hot.

Feed , 4x watering in veg, in a hot house with rapid growth we are feeding once a week
Feed 2x water in flower up until the last 2 weeks
But all is codependent on the starting media / soil.
We use inert soil, no amendments and need to feed more.
With organic soil I’ve found that less feeding is actually better as the soil should have everything the plant needs all the way through flower with very little input.
Look most salt sellers ( chemically produced nutrients) will want you to use more then what you need. If you have started with an organic media, I’d suggest 1/4 of the ratio they recommend , the plants will tell you very quickly if you are under or over feeding.

They are all in fox farm ocean forest with perlite. I have checked runoff at 6.5. Seems to be pretty stable. Not quite understand what you mean

I purchased a bag of happy frog yesterday to put them in 5gal fabric pots. Overnight it hit about 20 degrees, and I forgot it in my truck. It wasn’t frozen but a little crunchy. Is it still ok to use or is the bag wasted now?

No problem, the bacterial population may have suffered a bit, but it will replenish and if you feed a good microbe tea you will speed up the process.
And i think @Jack og means: feed, water, water, water, water, feed.. in veg and feed, water, water, feed.. in flowering. I may be mistaken on this one tho :)
Also they look a bit overwatered if you are bottle feeding nutes, you can let that dry a bit between waterings.

Ahh, ok, i see you are misting the plants. That causes it. No need to at this point, they are getting what they need from the roots.
