I would recommend an Indica based strain, as they tend to grow a little quicker and finish earlier. I'm not too far away, and Sativa is just about impossible to grow totally outdoors because of the weather near Erie. Grandaddy Purple was always a robust plant with nice buds and it grew pretty quickly. An auto strain might not be a bad option, as they are easier to flower early, which you will need. With daylight hours getting pretty long up your way during the summer, you need to be careful if moving plants outside from starting inside... revegging can be a real problem when you are getting 18 hours of daylight! The Auto strains originated in northern climates from the Ruderalis strain/species, which had a very short growing season.
