    Can’t figure this one out

It has gotten to some very high temperatures in the room 100f during a heat wave. Not sure if the heat had made an impact.

    Can’t figure this one out

Hey, ive run into this issue in nearly every grow I’ve done on at least one plant. This grow is in organic living soil, I’m 5.5 weeks into flower, slim 600h by optic led, compost teas every second week as well. Before I thought it was a ph issue, but I’ve been told not to adjust ph in living soil.

Need some help getting to the bottom of this.

That’s exactly the issue I’m having and I even top dressed because I thought it was a magnesium issue. RIP. It’s my last run with promix though.

Need some help getting to the bottom of this.

Checked the ph of my run off after hitting my plants with water at around 6.2 and the run off was still in the 7-7.3 area So I definitely think ph has been an issue. Hopefully it doesn’t completely ruin the yield of these plants. They have 3-5 weeks left.

Need some help getting to the bottom of this.

I’ve always been told that with organic, you don’t need to worry because the microbial life will always adjust the ph, same with for organic compost teas, but I could be wrong. Someone in the same city as me does not adjust ph, same water, no issues. But I will go back to adjusting and see what...

Need some help getting to the bottom of this.

Ph is around 7.8 never any higher, but I’ll lower it and water with that when it’s due.

Need some help getting to the bottom of this.

Hello, I seem to encounter this issue to some degree almost every grow on at least one plant. Sometimes more severe then others. It’s happened in coco with bottled nutes as well as coco with organic, and now in promix with Gaia green, earth worm castings, bat guano, and dolomite lime. I also...

Not sure what the issue is here

Here’s a couple photos of two plants. One was clones while in flower but they all seem to be developing it. I’m trying to find my kit to recalibrate my ph meter in case that’s the issue.

Not sure what the issue is here

Hey, so I moved on from autoflowers and have started my first grow from clones. However a couple of these clones started to kind of almost yellow on the edges, but then the edges started to dry out and die on the edges. At first I thought I was having a nitrogen deficiency, then thought maybe...

    Officially killed a plant

It's in coco coir but I did have sand due to the previous bug problem I had which was keeping it wet. So I scraped it all out but it doesn't seem to have mattered. What's odd was I noticed the leaves curling in from the edges and they started to dry out and fade which is odd. I've never seen this.

    Officially killed a plant

So strange. Opened my tent to this, this morning. Organic dry amendments nothing different then any other plant I have. It just.... died? Lol. Sucks.

    Compost tea aeration question

Hope I’m posting in the proper sub forum. I want to make a compost tea on this grow and see these cheaper airstone kits on amazon for $20. I’m only going to be brewing a 2.5 gallon batch. Will they be sufficient or do I need to go for something a bit beefier? I’m having a hard time googling...

    Fungus gnat problem

They don’t actually stick to the sticky pads which is why I thought I was only dealing with gnats. That sucker walked right off.

    Fungus gnat problem

I don’t know what these bugs are but if I drop seeds the roots just get destroyed and nothing sprouts. But I finally got a picture of the other little fucking bastards causing me all this grief lol. Any idea what these are?

    Fungus gnat problem

Actually they look more like thrips. The pictures I was seeing of thrips at first were very clear but these are darker.
