A Friendly Hello from beancounter aka sybaritic/sybarite/syb!

Still got your seeds. All the blockhead and sweet tooth crosses. Also just got back the Chemd you gave me a decade ago. Thanks for showing me how to never have to buy seeds again ... wherever you are! I know the bad luck train kept rollin.

Lost Coast Plant Therapy~ Product Of Humboldt County

The russets I got were resistant to Avid, Akari, Pylon and Forbid which is what I used in that order. Tetrasan knocked them back. JMS Stylet oil and Plant Therapy for the win. It’s 1 oz a gallon so a gallon makes 128 gallons. That comes to 1.56 a gallon. I bought a qt for $26 bucks. For...

What to seal drywall with?? Home Depot Products

Water based O VOC paint is awful. Even if you go with the higher end Benjamin Moore Advance Primers, they just lay on the surface and don't really bond. You have to vacuum the walls before you prime them or it just peels off. The old oil primers would go right through dust and bond, we...

Larry OG vs. Tahoe OG in Dual Monster Plant System

How does the water in combination with the glass reduce the power of the light? Glass can reduce a lights intensity by 25% and air cooling reduces the lights power even more. So a water cooled light... anyone do any tests to see if it makes a 1k more of an 800K? Just curious. Pros and cons...

Hey, that Grape Krush x Blueberry turned out better than I thought after a cure. Strong.

How to avoid the popcorn nugs?

I've just finished 3 runs with the General Organics and I'm done. High yielding plants become low yielders using the GO, no matter how much you trim. Buds that would have been fat colas become small seperate buds even if you pistil whip. I even trimmed again 2 weeks after the flip...

    New drop tonight!

The Pre2K Blueberry has been a little disappointing in the last cross. Crossing her with other Blueberry related strains seems to bring out the sativa in the offspring. An older member crossed her with a Blueberry Indica and it sucked. I just crossed her to Grape Krush and the one tester was...

    Dreadlocks

I knew a bunch of guys from Brooklyn who became Pseudofarians. One day out of no where, they lost their New York accents and started speaking with a Jamaican accent! That was in the 80's. There was a scene connected to NYC and Woodstock that connected lots of subculture hippy stuff. Since then...

Neil Young and Crazy horse at Red Rocks...

I see him every year at the Bridge School Benefit. Last year... Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Santana, Los Amigos Invisibles, Dave Matthews, Beck, Mumford and Sons, Tony Bennett and more. Neil jammed with every one. To see Dave Matthews, Dave Groll, Neil Young, Marcus Mumford and Santana jamming...

    Dreadlocks

It's like wearing a heavy hat and if you run hot, you will sweat all the time. They are super hard to wash so it's a lot of work to keep clean. Also , people tend to not take you seriously with dreads unless you are African American. It's like announcing your committment to being a professional...

Phosphoload, Gravity, Bushmaster, Topload, and Flower Dragon are TOXIC!

Well, that being said for clarity, I would like to see the results of independent studies of both marijuana grown and the bodies of smokers who smoke weed with PBZ. They stop vertical growth, they don't stop growth, so yeah the buds get fat. But for someone trying to grow a sativa that goes...

Phosphoload, Gravity, Bushmaster, Topload, and Flower Dragon are TOXIC!

Not at all. I'm just jaded about information from pot sites. I also stopped using bushmaster once I got my system down. I can't imagine it's more harmful than inhaling smog sitting in traffic. It worked great for 12 week sativas that would have grown through the roof. Most of the info on...

Phosphoload, Gravity, Bushmaster, Topload, and Flower Dragon are TOXIC!

Thats study of pesticides is interesting but nothing to do with the title of this thread. Back to the specific subject of this thread. PBZ growth inhibitor. Not pesticides, or opiates , but the specific claim that small amounts of PBZ ( usually 2 applications of bushmaster with 2ml per gallon...

    Soilless nutes

I switched from GH with budswel to General Organics. Tastewise, Canna blew GH away. General Organics blew them both away. Switching back to GH because I can't automate any organics I can find locally. Sannie's system is automatable, but I don't want to order from the netherlands.

    Soilless nutes

Some of them will give you harsh and tasteless weed. You need to find the product that gives you good weed not just the cheapest product. And yes there is a difference. You sometimes get what you pay for.

Phosphoload, Gravity, Bushmaster, Topload, and Flower Dragon are TOXIC!

I watched the video and read this thread. It didn't show any analysis of bud grown with these products, nor did it state any conclusive studies or facts that show a direct connection between smoking weed grown with these products and liver damage. Someone spraying this on a field of course...

Misinformation Remember , there is a lot of stupidity repeated on the internet. People read it and repeat it. You will often find that you are using a method in your garden with success and then read that it's terrible and will never work. But yet, you used it and it worked. I've gotten...
