    Coco Nute ???

What problem(s) are you having? More specificity would help. I wonder if the Bio-Canna nutes have enough calcium in them for a coco grow.

    Coco Nute ???

what is the point of checking the pH and TDS of the runoff? Coco isn't rockwool, it's not inert. I suppose if one were running a recirculating grow, the EC of the runoff would match up with the EC of the coco and that measurement could be useful, but other than that, what are the benefits...

    adjusting PH with 0 ppm

It's not about pH, it's about the affect of alkalinity on water and medium pH. Plain and simple, not enough cannabis growers know this stuff. The books, magazines and FAQs have failed on the issue of water quality in the growroom. RO water has little to no alkalinity, i.e. capacity to...

    a vertical Turface MVP grow

The older of my two 400w ballasts died on June 30th, so I put these back under Floro. tubes. I'm sort of re-thinking how to go forward. all but two out of twelve are cranking along, with 4-5 leaf sets. a bunch of blueberry seeds were popped over the last 48 hours and planted in...

    a vertical Turface MVP grow

Here's a one-shot update. The seedlings all have two leaf sets of leaves, so I moved them into the 400w vert. closet tonight.

    a vertical Turface MVP grow

This is part of a larger, perpetual grow. It's a test run of sorts. The rest of my plants are in coir only, but I've been wanting to give something else a go. When the plants are done vegging, they'll replace eight Blue Haze plants that are about 4 weeks into 12/12. The variety is a cross...

Hi rh butt stupid or time to break some myths.

With that (above) being posted, I've in the last few weeks (since reading in the Krusty Bucket thread about 70% RH) trying a different strategy for the first time. And that is not worrying about driving rh in the grow room down to the truly arbitrary number of 50%. Don't even ask where I got...

    Homebrew Organics for Coco

very interesting. but, why not gypsum instead of lime since the pH of the coir is already just right?

Do you use both Grow and Bloom during flowering?

personally I would, but many growers cut out the N early or cut it down. it's really your call.

Do you use both Grow and Bloom during flowering?

You are not feeding any nitrogen and it's mobile within the plant so what you're seeing is the result of the N being drawn from the older leaves to fuel the newer growth.

Do you use both Grow and Bloom during flowering?

This is what the GH 1:1:1 ratio looks like in terms of N - P - K Mg - S - Ca: 111 - 39 - 136 - 30 - 15 - 81 What most people would call a "grow" profile if not for the higher K. I just finished off a bottle of FNG, two weeks into bloom and switched to Peters Professional Hydro-Sol...

Do you use both Grow and Bloom during flowering?

FWIW, Erik Biksa wrote in Maximum Yield mag. about testing done on GH, not AN, but GH 3 part and that the best results were seen from the 1:1:1 ratio from start to finish.

Do you use both Grow and Bloom during flowering?

It's actually the first time I'm growing an Ind. dominant in a drain to waste grow so I've been erring on the side of caution, keeping the EC on the lower side, but will keep a keen eye out on the need for more. Thanks JK.

Do you use both Grow and Bloom during flowering?

Hi JK, it's def. going to be another learning experience. I am running two varieties right now, one is Sat. dominant and the other Ind. dominant. Two weeks into 12/12 for most. edit: for what it's worth, I never let the EC rise over 1.4... (it's a drain to waste grow)
