    Rooting With IBA

Haha, yes indeed! :D Hey, thanks a lot for taking the time to source that for me, that's really kind of you. I wonder if you could do something similar with the powdered IBA, making your own Everclear or isopropyl solution... hm. Well, I'll probably try the D 'n G first. In fact, I think I'll...

    Rooting With IBA

Huh! Dip 'n Grow happens to be my favorite cloning factor, after much experimentation. Seems as though it'd be pretty expensive for general application, though. Do you know any details about how they used it? mL/gal, timing, that sort of thing? Thanks for the reply!

Welcome to the Fungal, it gets worse here everyday - Fusarium Solani

Half-alive and a very modest harvest... yeah, that about sums it up. :hungover: But the lab did verify that my root samples were growing out both fusarium and pythium, so... if I can find success against them, especially without systemics, hopefully it can be of use to others as well. Time will...

Fair enough... have you known Aliette to be successful in battling fusarium, pythium, etc?

Uh-uh. But there are a billion-and-one fungal treatments out there. Many don't seem to be intended for RDWC use, which is a shame, 'cause that's how I roll... but anyway. At this point, I think we've got a *lot* of potential products and combos that might be effective, but we're short on...

    Rooting With IBA

Hey, I know this thread is a bit old, but I'd like to hear a little more about the root growth application you mentioned. The powder I have (.1% IBA) doesn't seem very miscible in water; it just floats to the top, even when you try to stir it in. Kinda messy. Would you be willing to elaborate...

Yeah, Googling indicates that Fosetyl is the active in the brand-name product Aliette. But Dutchman, I thought you said Aliette was one of the products the all the shops in the Netherlands were testing for and refused to carry?

Thanks for obliging, man. I appreciate it. Thanks for the strain suggestions, and Dutch Master Zone (here in the U.S.) uses a Copper Sulfate formula. I'd still like to hear about how to test for systemics in plant tissue though. ; )

Allllllright... look, I want this discussion to remain civil, but I have to admit, I am troubled by your posts. Fair enough, and that's your choice, but I don't think it's all you *should* have to say. You've made a lot of serious accusations about some proposed solutions to this problem, and...

Welcome to the Fungal, it gets worse here everyday - Fusarium Solani

Hm. Well... I can't have that. But I also need to know whether or not that's true. Capulator and several others have recommended Subdue Maxx as a solution. If we're honest, however, it seems safe to say that the claimed half-life of metalaxyl in plant tissue may viewed with suspicion. That does...

Y'know, it seems a great many things in the microscopic world function this way. Not surprising, really, but amazing nonetheless. Check out this TED talk on that very subject: http://www.ted.com/talks/bonnie_bassler_on_how_bacteria_communicate.html But that's a bit off-topic. So the idea is...

Thanks, Cap. Y'know, I think I'll give that a go, just because you're one of the Big Dogs. I reserve the right to bomb the hell out of them should it prove necessary, however. ;) Do you know if the rep had a dosing strategy for the Subdue? Particularly for RDWC? I'm envisioning just applying...

Yo Silver, and anyone else interested - this thread might be worth a look if you haven't seen it already: https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/hydro-fungicide-questions-lost-dizzle.22863/ Thoughts? Maybe my regimen will just be an early course of Subdue Maxx, followed by maintenance...

Yeah, 'twas as I figured. Silly question, actually; I think everybody knows you can't have sterilization and bennies both. What was I smoking? ;) Thank you, though! The better question would be which strategy do I employ? FYI, Subdue Maxx is a food-safe fungicide, active against Fusarium and...

Thanks, my man. Just checking back in, and reporting on my status as well. Everything that helps one of us could help all of us, y'know? I haven't yet gotten complete results from the lab my samples went to, but the last I head was that the early cultures were growing out BOTH fusarium and...

Hey, just wanted to shout that I've been reading extensively about Subdue Maxx and RootShield, and they both sound as though they hold a great deal of promise for embattled growers like us! And in case it was missed in Cap's post (not trying to poach you, Cap ;)), T-22 refers to the strain of...

Hey, thanks much. I really do appreciate it. Silverhaze set me up with the name of a lab in Cali, and I've already sent them root and crown samples from the infected plants, along with a sample of my source water. I'll also report back here when I get word from them, and if I am...

Heavy yellowing, from 2-4 weeks in flower. Crop threatened, any advice welcome!

Yo! Thanks for the interest, and I appreciate the the suggestion. However, I do have a chiller and temps are described on the first page of the thread. Would've been a good place to start, though - I wish it were that simple. : P

Haze, inuyasha, a couple questions for you guys: first, any updates? Second, can either of you recommend a lab where a lobster from the Far North could send water or root samples for pathogen analysis? I've never done such a thing before. I'd like to establish what, specifically, is...
