everything's pollinated! yikes - need advice!

I guess 82 means a lot more stress to a plant than 79... the main culprit, I think, is a White Widow - Afghan cross. It is now crossed with Blue Widow, Royal Purple Kush, White Widow, Super Sour OG, OG Sensi, and Hawaiian Purps. I daresay there is reason to save some of this. The Blue Widow...

everything's pollinated! yikes - need advice!

The oldest flowers (Northern Lights) don't LOOK pollinated and have a week or two to go but everything in the room seems to be getting less and less smelly and less sticky as well. There are other flowers that are close to being done budding (I will never again use a feminized seed) and they...

Using G.O. for a Compost Solution

Is General Organics meant for a microbe-based grow or is it just an OMRI version of General Hydro? I just got some and my plants are taking a nosedive as far as health and I can't help but think I should just go back to guano and humates and carbs, with a little fish. Could I make a compost...

is this a sound late flower strategy?

I have been wondering if since nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorous are essential in differing ratios (according to stage of growth) to plant health and bud production, taste, and potency, is it safe to say that in the last week or two of flower that giving them "too much" phosphorous, i.e...

ELP - room's overhead CFL left on all night in flower area

HELP - room's overhead CFL left on all night in flower area I have plants at a variety of stages and (all in flower here - some real close) and I just found out that last night as I tended my plants, I forgot to turn off the overheard room light (not the grow lights). I think I will just tape...

how much stretch to expect from super skunk

This is G13 Labs' Skunk #1 / Afghani Hash Plant hybrid. Anyone? If you have experience with the Super Skunk strain from other breeders, please feel free to chime in (many others do not indicate hash plant parentage but only 'Afghani').

how big does a red diesel REALLY get?

I don't suppose you would know if a six and a half foot tall tent would be enough for a RD sent straight into 12/12?

Tangerine Dream from Barney's Farm with Coco/Go line

Would anyone here say that TD could be LST'd to become bushy and send four into a mini SOG in a tent effectively? I am trying to get a grasp on just how this plant grows as there seem to be a lot of disparity on that.

Red Diesel, Tangerine Dream - SOG

I wonder if I can get them to bush outward with some creative LST and then send four of them into a sort of SOG as soon as they get about fifteen inches. Does that sound like it would work to you? It has been a couple of weeks so I thought i would see how those are going. i saw some TD...

YIKES - heat stress threatens much of crop

So far, all the cool I experience has done, seemingly, is slow things down a bit and add some purple to some plants, and I stress seemingly. While I am not an expert, taking away some of the heat is inducing a favorable response from the ladies. Many of the buds looked a little singed on top...

    are they close? [PICS]

I am done trying to get someone to look at these photos here since they will not upload; I'll try another forum.

    are they close? [PICS]

Okay so screw it. I cannot upload photos because a "security token is missing." Whatever. That is something I only experience here. Maybe I can get the photos up before my buds are past ripe. I'll try again tomorrow.

    are they close? [PICS]

The first photo shows a "Special Kush" that I sent into flower at about three weeks. Many plants suffered some heat stress causing many flowers to pop male flowers and self-seed. Others simply stopped growing visibly but like many, this plant's flowers just got denser and denser as the time...

YIKES - heat stress threatens much of crop

They actually look better today than they did yesterday. I had plants in other tents looking singed on top colas and many were popping male flowers out the top and self-pollinating. I figure half a dozen seeds per ounce is possible from the looks of it right now. Anyway, I saw signs of new...

I don't think you can make the color out properly in these at all but here are a few photos.

YIKES - heat stress threatens much of crop

I have actually been timing my lights' cooling system to go off for twenty minutes at a time to get the daytime temperature up over 72 but I think that is how they got burned. I think it is better to have lower temps than to have what looks like a toasted almond crunch from the ice cream truck...

YIKES - heat stress threatens much of crop

The problem with that is that I find myself consistently unable to get a good look at a bud (with a photo) or a plant that is deep in the HPS light - not for lack of trying, mind you. MH or CFL yes. The plants are too bushy to move out of there, especially since I am using corners of the tents...

YIKES - heat stress threatens much of crop

What I need to know is that once the buds in my tent (White Widows at week five of flower) have gone to a rust brown pretty much all over and the buds don't seem to be getting any bigger any more, will remedying my heat issue promptly and attention to nutrition and other factors jump start these...
