    First waterfarm grow Madman led+cfl.

trichomes said it was done, 50-70% amber depending where i looked, I even waited till some degraded into thcv to make sure. Could be local strain variations or growing conditions. I've also noted using led's plants tend to be more green when finished compared to hid, maybe lack of uv has...

Last few days I had to raise the ph of the bucket, i just use 8.0 tap water that has been de-chlorinated. 5.56->5.8

    First waterfarm grow Madman led+cfl.

The plant is starting to suck nutes nicely, i noticed a 40 ppm drop over night and the root system in the bucket is really developing nicely. Ill try to get some pics of it sometime between classes today.

Accidently left the fan on the plant too long and it blew over, so I lifted it back up and it stayed upright for the most part. whoops hehe. Looking great, very vigorous and healthy so far.

1st grow, half way almost done 3 weeks flower, advice on seedlings, and yellow spots.

ok, looking over my books. lack of o2 mimics def in micro nutes by preventing the roots from uptaking them as cell respiration slows in the root cells.

1st grow, half way almost done 3 weeks flower, advice on seedlings, and yellow spots.

it can also mimic all sorts of nute problems, thats why we are looking to eliminate it. If it has no o2, the cells can not use nutes and more importantly micronutes when making plant matter, so it shows as a nute problem, when its just lacking the o2.

yeah, so important the water temp. If you dont have a way to measure, just stick your finger in it and it should feel at least slightly chilled. If it feels warm or neutral, then you might have issues. When it gets hot here, last few days have been near 100, I drop ice cubes in my res to make...

1st grow, half way almost done 3 weeks flower, advice on seedlings, and yellow spots.

I think I can see the pattern in the yellowing, and it seems like its going from bottom up. I am making some assumptions though, like the yellow cola in the front is from the bottom of the plant. If you can look and that is the case, that would follow the pattern of N def or o2 uptake.

1st grow, half way almost done 3 weeks flower, advice on seedlings, and yellow spots.

Pics to me, look like lack of o2 on the roots. The curling under with yellowing, kinda makes me think it is possible that it is. Whats the temp of the water? Water loses its ability to hold o2 when it gets around 70ish, so make sure its kept 70 or under. Its so hard to look at pics and...

What is going on with my plant? I'm trying to salvage her.

sounds like a plan. The plant is stressed, but I don't think its close to dying off.

What is going on with my plant? I'm trying to salvage her.

When I see the leaves spider like that and curl under, I usually look towards o2 uptake issues or smoothered roots. Seamadien could be right as well, it could be combination of heat and roots, only you know if high heat is a factor. If I know my soil is heavy, I just let it dry out a day...

That makes sense actually that your tap is 7.1, thats right over the border, but not far enough to cause the tips to yellow, which is the tell tale sign. Lemon juice, vinegar both work reasonably well. If the plant was mine. I would flush with adjusted water, then let it dry out.
