Runoff PH in coco important or not

Chasing your runoff ph in coco can literally make ya nutz. It's like chasing a rabbit through a maze of wild rose bushes. You never quite know if you're headed the right direction and you're bound to get scratched up some, IMO. Unless your plants are showing signs of ph problems, don't go...

HIGH PH IN COCO COIR 70/30 PERLITE

If you're getting ready to flip them to flower, I would definitely recommend a good flush with regular 6.0 ph water. I would not use water ph'd down to 3.9. The nute line you're using, are you using the full line or just the 2 part? Do you use Calmag? Are your plants showing any problems? If...

    My seedling are not growing

Next watering, give them straight water and alaskan fish oil. It will not burn your seedlings, and you will get a nice growth spurt from it. Water thoroughly and then give them a good dry back, repeat if you want.

Gnats, Gnats, Gnats, how do I get rid of them?

Diatomaceous earth liberally top dressed on your soil. Gnats climb up out of the soil through it and it cuts up their exoskeleton and they die. Repeat in a week to 10 days or so to catch any subsequent hatches. Loses its effectiveness when wet.

first grow in coco blend from "Dakine" need advice on nuits.

Sounds like a pretty hot mix to me. I would think you should be fine without feeding for at least 90 days. I'd also treat it exactly like soil, and not coco. All the organic additives in it, you'll want regular wet and dry cycles. That's just imho, which is worthless in all 50 United States...

So what happens if coco dries out?

I admit, I do spend a lot of time schooling myself reading your threads. The wet/dry cycle was definitely picked up from you. The organic additives starting to compost the coco was something I think I picked up from Texas Kid or one of the local TX crew years ago when I first switched to coco...

So what happens if coco dries out?

It is my understanding that when you start adding organic additives such as earthworm castings and other organic additives, that the media then does retain water longer, which is why you need more of a wet/dry cycle. Also, unless I'm mistaken, adding those organic ingredients to coco is...

So what happens if coco dries out?

You need to treat that more like soil, not coco, and have regular wet dry cycles. I see guys add stuff to their coco all the time, and I have no idea why y'all do it. The whole idea of coco is to treat it like hydro and fertigate your plants, i.e. feed them nutrients when you water. Good luck...

What I Learned From Social Media Weed Forums

I don't know if any of you partake of social media weed groups, but if you should be brave and venture forth into those waters, be advised: 1: Everyone (and I do mean EVERYONE) is a master gardener. 2: Every master gardener knows that calmag is a cure all miracle solution for every ailment...

Can Mother Earth Coco/Perlite be watered daily?

It took me all of 15 seconds to google and find their website and see that on there it says: Mother Earth® Coco is pre-buffered and pH adjusted to promote strong root growth I think it's safe to extrapolate from that they use the same coco in their coco perlite mix. Most folks tend to water...

Can Mother Earth Coco/Perlite be watered daily?

Their straight coco is ph buffered. I'd be pretty amazed if the line with perlite in it is not. As for the trichoderma, they have a pretty decent customer service dept, you might try contacting them through their website and asking.

Promix vs coco with dry amendments help pls

If you do coco with amendments, you'll need to treat it more like soil and not like coco. @Aqua Man has been commenting on a thread where someone is using amended coco I saw just recently. Maybe he'll drop by to offer advice.

Mates 1st time. Getting frustrated. Help. Male or female.

Can't tell anything from those pictures, too fuzzy to see what's going on at the nodes. You could get a 30X loupe off amazon and have it sorted out pretty quickly.
