Can you get the correct wavelengths for LECs? you'd want both 440 and 662nm or as close to as possible, else the photons are essentially shooting blanks - s0 to speak..

It is and it's a poor comparison. Everyone is forced to make compromises within their jobs. That does not make them like Nazi guards.

Unless you're running a greenhouse which is completely closed off from the outside environment, I doubt that will solve the problem. IME greenhouses are more likely to lead to uncontrolled outbreaks. Netting would be even more useless.
