    Excellent mite control! SNS-217

I just got some SNS-217 to battle mites in my garden. Someone asked about the price, but I do not think that question was answered. People in southern CA can visit this hydro store in person and you can also order online for delivery around the USA. In store, the discount made it cost $80...

So you play an instrument, huh? SHOW IT!

A buddy of mine has a custom guitar shop that designed the Scary Budocaster for a special event. Featuring photography of none other than the Cali Connection gear. I remembered seeing some nice gear in this thread so I figured I would share with you all. The list price on one of these is...

General Hydro GH 3-part shelf life....4 years??

Nice to see you guys and thanks for the help! Things look fine after making one big batch. Now we'll see if the girls start looking happier on GH. So I figured out the answer to my old question from a year ago. Yes, there are actually scientific changes in the new and improved AN formula...

General Hydro GH 3-part shelf life....4 years??

Been working in a garden that is scrapping together everything from left over parts. Running drain to waste hydro. Had a lot of left over Advanced Nutrients...partial bottles here and there...so I was using AN Sensi Grow 2-part. Made an interesting discovery which is that AN HAS INDEED...

Does your Aquashield have particles in it?

Good luck finding any info. I think it was after they published what was in it and went for approval that they ended up having to change the name and re-label it...so I doubt they are in any rush to publish that info again.

Does your Aquashield have particles in it?

I forgot to update this thread but I checked in with my buddies and YES the new Aquashield does indeed have floaties in it. Make sure you shake it up and you are good to go. it should be a clear liquid with particles suspended in it. I double checked on an old bottle of Hydroguard at my...

Does your Aquashield have particles in it?

Yep, mine has a urine tint as to be expected. From a distance you can't see the floaties, but when you look at the entire bottle or examine an ounce sample closely, you can see them all the way through. This is a new botte I picked up about 3 weeks ago. YUCK.

Does your Aquashield have particles in it?

I can't find anything on here or other sites about Botanicare's Aquashield (formerly known as Hydroguard) going bad or getting particles in it. I have a 5gal container that I just opened and I can see black/brown particles floating all the way through clear liquid. I am scratching my brain...

An Amazing OG Recipe I Want To Share With Everyone

Piranha is Mycorrhizal fungi and Tarantula is beneficial bacteria. They are both benes meant by the manufacturer to be run together. They are certainly not substitutes for one another.

New Advanced Nutrients Digital Ballast Coming Soon

JK, I smiled when I read this post title, thinking of the unpublished "exhaustive research" AN must have done on their new technology. I like to watch all of you others buy and try and report on EVERYTHING before me. That's why I come to forums. It is very cool of you, Billygoat, to share a...

    Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Filtration

There is no need for DI. There are 2 leading ebay/online vendors I found (see OP) and they all have a dozen or more system options. Different filters and stages and rates to make up a complete package. If I ordered from them, my plan was to get the top of the line but without the DI option.

USHIO HiLUX GRO Metal Halide MH lamp w/ Lumatek digital ballast

Also, go to a good hydro shop to make the purchase if there is one near you. I drive over 2 hours to visit a certain one in a major metropolitan area because they can talk shop about bulbs and I know for a fact that he's swapped out blown Hortilux when people had ballast issues. I'd rather pay...

USHIO HiLUX GRO Metal Halide MH lamp w/ Lumatek digital ballast

Been, your Lumatek is popping your bulbs? What kind of bulbs are you using now? Like I said in my PM, my Ushio is going on 6 months of 18 hours a day with no problems. But I have only purchased and installed one so I can't say anything statistically about their performance.

    freezing fresh trim

You can even pick up the dry ice at a lot of supermarkets when you buy your regular bags of ice. I wouldn't have wanted to track down specialty items for bubble hash, but my local grocer has a dry ice option right next to the standard ice bin. It's a bit of a hassle to wait for a qualified...

    "Emergency" Meeting in Denver!

Their recall on 11/3 was relatively quick which says to me citizens did their job making a ruckus before the meeting was even held. Budkatz is right that this seems to have gone into "non-emergency" and then "doh! bad idea" status. LOL.

Pros and cons of day vs night lights on...

I have a big warning about air conditioners operating outside...I had the bad luck to install A/C that WON'T operate if the temperature external to the unit is less than 55F. It was a spot cooler that I put in an uninsulated shed. So in the winter, my A/C would not kick on due to this...
