Heavy Yeilding strains available in seed form?

S.A.G.E. from TH seeds. My first run was great, everyone loved it. Second run still had good yield and bag appeal, but they said it wasn't as good. Strange because they came from same mom. Really big colas and easy to grow and clone.

    first grow ???? pleas help

Depending on your strain, seeing some leaves starting to die is not a big deal to worry about seeing that you are on week 6. However posting a few pics will help us to see if it's something other than the natural process, like maybe a deficiency or something. As far as trimming off leaves, again...

    Hello from the N.E

I personally would not put any kind of lights on during darkness, it's just too risky. There is research that has been done that says plants still go through a sort of photosynthesis with little to no light, but I never saw any specifics as to what spectrum they could be using. You can veg with...

    Hello from the N.E

Nice to meet ya! Does N.E. stand for New England, North East, or Nebraska ? As far as the UVB , you are correct that it does increase Trich production. But I would not use a green bulb for that. You can get a UVB reptile CFL bulb at most nearly any petshop. They are made for reptiles. I would...

    Pearlite on top..........or music???

I asked the same question about music in another thread and only got one response. I think it can't hurt. If I had 2 rooms I would try different types of music in each for a whole cycle ( everything else being the same) and see if there were any noticeable differences.

    Electro-Culture DIY

Will one of those fishtank UV sterilizers kill beneficial bacteria? I was thinking about adding one to the res. It's this one: It is supposed to control algae growth. I'm just thinking for preventative reasons, I don't have algae now.

    Heading north...

I'm not saying to be afraid, I'm advising to be cautious. And not because of the law. There are people that would rather rob other growers instead of growing their own. That's not an opinion it's a fact.

    how it's done?

incase I get a chance to try someday. So if I find a male of something that is good, let it grow away from anything else, even outside if necessary. When it starts popping collect some pollen and let it dry a few days or so. Select a female plant. Take one branch of the female plant and...

I just try to meet other RI's from this site to trade with. But either way you always gotta be smart about it. RI is such a small state that everyone knows everyone. That and the fact that most people use the same 3 major grow shops. I wouldn't be suprised if they were all being watched and...

    Grow Room Electrical

No I don't think that is correct. If you are using the ballast at 240v, and only drawing 5 amps, it's still only 5amps on the main. To get your 240 from your panel you are using two lines of 120v into the breaker that feeds your 240 plug. So your really cutting that 5 amps in half for each feed...

    Heading north...

I went to a couple of their meetings in the past. Sometimes they raffle equipment and stuff, and people will bring in seeds or clones to trade or sell. Then people's house's started getting robbed and rumor was they were getting followed home from the meetings. I stopped going after that.

    Industrial Dehumidifier

On some of these models I see options to hookup exhaust venting. I thought that the warm dry air is supposed to go back to the room. No? Also I'm looking at a 3 year old Santa Fe Compact model on craigslist. It is local to my town. Asking price is 600, because it comes with some optional...

    air stone tubes getting slimy

I read on another forum somewhere that one person was hooking up the air hose to a pump in a bucket and running diluted bleach or H2O2 through it for a few minutes. Seems like it will work for stuff that gets into the stones

glad it went well for you. My accident was in 2001, but I had new xrays taken last week because I get them done for free here while I'm deployed. It shows the screws and stuff still implanted. The doc that alot of RI people were going to a few years ago got his RI license revoked. He was making...

    Lack of CO2

I'm guessing you have forced hot air for heat? That would explain why your winter grows did better, more residual CO2 in the basement. Also more air circulation. I say if you have any windows you can open, with a fan pulling fresh air in, you'll do better.

Any advice on getting a de-humidifier?

I just found a 3 year old Santa Fe Compact in the classifieds. It is the 70 pint model. Asking 500 for it. Think its worth it?
