    Led Quantum And Sun. Boards

From what I hear Sun Boars are fine. Most PCB designs are fine unless you hear they are crappy. Most are made in China and some are made in America, the American ones cost most. I make my own because I am cheap, always have been always will be. MOD here dislikes me because I do NOT spend my...

Quantum Board Owners And Experienced Growers Post Your Gpws Here

Yes you do or else you have to hire their engineers. Who do you think designs these pcb's? a video for you the basics BTW, not giving guidance. You can not afford my guidance. My rates are as high as an attorney's and higher. My clients pay for my time. I give it freely here for a purpose...

Quantum Board Owners And Experienced Growers Post Your Gpws Here

from me. I designed the GrowGreen boards using Samsung LM561C S6 diodes with 384 diodes per board mixed spectrum 3000k/5000k on two separate channels. Channels wired in parallel yie3lds a 100w board. Channels wired in series yield a 200w board. Th former is driven by a HLG-120H-C1050B driver...

Are Rapidled And Similar Kits Worth It

I know you are looking at cobs, but pcbs are efficient if designed correctly, and use less power. A GrowGreen pcb uses one HLG-185H-C1050B driver for two boards for a total of 200w at 200lm/w output the highest available for the Samsung LM561C diode. Less power than four cobs and more light...

    Led Btu Calculations (hvac)

you have to consider efficiency when calculating heat loads. HPs is much less efficient than an led light. The led develops more lumens per watt than an hps. lumens are heat as well. leds are determined by the lumens/watt efficiency. to get a good comparison you would have to take that into...

Timber? Platinum? Looking For Led Help (for Aquaponics Setup)

here is a link on my7 blog about the GG 200w boards https://growgreenled.wordpress.com/2017/09/15/grow-green-samsung-lm561c-pcb/ regarding the UVA and Far red boards, I am still testing the first set. They seem to work well with an lpc-60-1050 driver. I have 4 leds per board and 24 far red...

Timber? Platinum? Looking For Led Help (for Aquaponics Setup)

On my website I have some new Deep Red 700nmnm/Royal Blue 460nm and Far Red 730nm/UVA 385nm boards using lumileds SunPlus 20 diodes top horticulture diodes in the industry to date.

    When To Uvb

I prefer UVA 285-315 nm over UVB. UVB is for reptiles and causes sun burrn, an can cause skin cancer for humans. UVC is used for bacteria controls. Most folks using UVB get a 2' reptile t5 style light and use it on a limited basis. Most reptile houses have them for sale $20-40 per tube.

Timber? Platinum? Looking For Led Help (for Aquaponics Setup)

Sounds interesting. I believe the IR and UV are very important for your aquarium, as water based plants thrive from IR and UV. I have a Diamond series light and it is full spectrum. COB's are nice but you will still have to add, IR, UV. Unless you are going to add additional red/blue, the...

I Have Two Led Lights, Which Would Be Better To Use

I use a GrowGreen board at 100w for veg. Light is a Samsung LM561C board. For clone and seedlings I built a light from LM561C diode flexible strips of 200w max and low power 100ma per diode very low but lots of lumens for plants to grow well and stay healthy. I wrote a blog about building...

Diy Growgreen 200w Samsung Bd Active Cooling

The key to efficiencies includes what size driver how many amps killowatts cost monthly. Nowadays power company provides daily weekly monthly usage and trends. Operating cost is as important as build cost. Pcb creates less heat fewer air changes needed to maintain temps fewer devices lowers...

Diy Growgreen 200w Samsung Bd Active Cooling

Tech changes and strip lights are an easy diy vs pcb designs. Same diode LM561C s6 bin 2.8 to 2.9 vf 200lm/w @88ma. Whether it is a strip or pcb still same potential. Plenty of folks having great success with hard strips. I am having some custom hard strips made with Lumileds luxeon SunPlus 20...
