I use a hudson power sprayer and soak them in the morning and evening with water. This keeps them in check and a dip in hydrogen peroxide and water cleans them up nicely

I'm in socal 109 here today my plants are fine. Black plastic pots will fry the roots and anything less than 30 gallons at that temp would need watered twice a day. Good luck
