Let's see your outdoor grow 2022

Only grew two this year, olne is down already, this one comes down starting tomorrow, because the cold rain is coming here in Oregon. What a fall for outdoor!

80* weather in Oregon for the next week

And things are looking fine. Best fall for weed in 6 years, at least. The greener buds are Original Glue, the more sativa-y looking ones are Chem Dawg, both from Nirvana seeds.

Late flower or ? I am just panicking

Looks like a sativa heavy strain. They can take up to 12-14 weeks. The apparent stage of the buds is consistent with that hypothesis. You're probably just early in the cycle. You have to be patient, but sativas can be really worth the wait.

Wondering if this was early sign of potassium deficiency.

Looks like nute burn to me.

OldManRiver's 2021 PNW Outdoor Girls - White Widow and Blue Dream

Yeah, our fall here in the Pacific Northwest got cold and wet right at the end. It's always a race against bud rot here. Strain selection is important, as is a little luck with the weather. It's all good, since weed is really just like tomatoes to me anymore: something I grow for enjoyment...

OldManRiver's 2021 PNW Outdoor Girls - White Widow and Blue Dream

Ended up with a little over 5 lb, which is still curing. Lost about a pound to bud rot. The bud rot hit the White Widow much harder than the Blue Dream. I could have salvaged half of that, but just wasn't motivated when I already had so much, since I just give it away to friends and family...

Advice on using trifecta crop control

It's a preventative more than a treatment, but using actinovate will help resist powdery mildew in the future. What @CannaGranny says is right on. Humidity and stagnant air provide PM and bud rot a rich ecology.

    Buds still not fattening up

Yes, you are being impatient. You are three to four weeks away, just keep on doing what you are doing. You're getting close when the pistils (the bushy white hairs) shrivel, and the calyxes swell up around the base of the pistil. Those pistils will be mostly gone. Somebody suggested...

    Is this the powdery mildew?

No need to throw them out. I just mean that actinovate is a prenventative measure, not a treatment once established.

    Is this the powdery mildew?

It's too late for this crop, but Actinovate works well to deal with PM and bud rot. It contains a bacteria, Streptomyces lydicus, that competes with PM and bud rot, and keeps them from taking hold. I treat the plants just as flowering starts, in a mix of 1 quart recommended mix with a...

OldManRiver's 2021 PNW Outdoor Girls - White Widow and Blue Dream

Buds are getting heavy. It's a race against bud rot, but forecast is favorable for the next two weeks.

Why do stems point up, leaves roll and curl down

I must not be understanding something. Transpiration is a natural function, you speak of it as a negative thing, or a thing to be managed. Transpiration is the final gasp of water as it moves through the plant, I am curious as to what you propose here.

Why do stems point up, leaves roll and curl down

@Aqua Man, Look at this picture. The first four sets of leaves are rolling under. The bottom two sets (counting the cotyledons) are starting to wilt, while the top two are curling under. The top is turgid, while lower leaves are wilting. Overwatering is the most common cause of such symptoms...

Why do stems point up, leaves roll and curl down

@Aquaman, look at the plant bottom center in the first picture. Sure looks like classic overwatering. As to your question, why do plants survive in hydro, I'll put it back to you, why so we use airstones and aeration in hydro? But I can tell that my opinion isn't desired, carry on.

Why do stems point up, leaves roll and curl down

You're watering a lot, and the plant is showing lots of signs of overwatering.

Tops drooping, are these overwatered? ;-)

It's supposed to be a joke. They got hammered by rain and wind.

Does anybody think this is ready to start flushing

The belief in flushing assumes two things, both of which are demonstrably false: 1) that the plant has some accumulation of 'salts' in its tissues, and 2) that washing the roots with water can extract those salts. Plants use fertilizer components as they are absorbed, and operate to absorb...

Tops drooping, are these overwatered? ;-)

Got hit hard by torrential rains this weekend, needed better support.

Does anybody think this is ready to start flushing

"Flushing" is a myth. If you take a bath, does the iron leach out of your blood?
