    Led To Hps

G8 240 watt covers 12sqft cost $309. works awesome, same results. They have a 900 watt almost a grand. American made, these are quality lights. May still have a 40% off special on second light. There are cheap ones out there but not these.

    Sixstrings Led Cob Builds

That's it Dawg. The G8s have worked well for me, don't know about price comparison to self built but they are much less than competitors. The spectrum is not adjustable and not dimmable but I have heard of problems with people messing with the spectrums on other brands and ruining the run. I use...

    Sixstrings Led Cob Builds

Gonna read this thread through when I have time! Been using G8LED 240s in a bank and getting same great results. Wondering if using the heat sink versus the G8 fan cooled results in less energy usage? Those little fans are noisy and must consume a fair amount electric.

King Julien's Aurora Indica X ??? Sativa Grow

Like your attitude! Looking like a good harvest, think your chickens have hatched. Ever find out what your bugs were? We never stop learning from others if an open mind is kept, even if their methods are different. Good job.

    Late In Flower Leaf Problem

You look to be getting pretty close. Plant is finishing up! I would do nothing other than pull most fan leaves and possibly a brewed tea for late flowering. It looks deficient but at this point it is too late to correct. Looks like more airflow would help/thinning lower leaves.

    Indoor 600w Nirvana White Widow.

Also wanted to note that insects are everywhere in our environment and surely gnats are living right outside your home waiting for the right conditions and opportunity to propagate. Fungus gnats are common around human dwellings and will find even sterilized soil with the smells of organic...

    Indoor 600w Nirvana White Widow.

Hey Docta, we all live and learn! Wanted to comment on your issues and my similar experience. I am on well water with about 120ppm hardness and a ph of about 7.5 and went through several good cycles. Tried switching up to R/O water and what I encountered was very similar. Best I could gather...

    "organic Matters" > Collective Methods

Bacillus thurigensis is the way to go. Apply powder form at transplant as preventive. Living soil is just that and bugs are a part of the mix. A few gnats are not a problem. Never use insecticides you will only kill the beneficials that will help in the end to control the infestation. Nature...

Can Anyone Tell Me What's Wrong With This Girl?

Soilless mix? Check ph may be acidic. Is water low in minerals (no buffer)water may be driving down ph causing lockout.

That will cover the P. I am an organic grower and like natural amendments.

    Reveg Help Please. Maybe Deficiency?

That is def phosphorus deficient. Leaf curl down, lower leaves dying, purple stem. Use a high P guano if organic or liquid foliar high in P

A Single Straw Can Start A Revolution. - Masanobu Fukuoka

Good read, great opinions. Organics are the way to go. After 20+ years of operating a landscape company and applying every imaginable pesticide, fertilizer, fungicide on turf, plants and trees (done to satisfy the clients demands) a constant cycle of application then remediation always occurred...
