I started a grow log at RIU, but haven't really received any input. I'm a 1st timer and can use all the help I can get so I can make each grow better than my last, and keep myself supplied with meds.

I germ'd 3 seeds on 4/10. Plants 2 and 3 sprouted on 4/12, and plant #1 sprouted on 4/14. They are under 3 dual 48" bulb fixtures with t8 bulbs, total of 224 watts, and have been on a 24/0 schedule since sprouting. All 3 are in 3gal pots.

Cabinet is about 4 1/2 ft wide, 2 ft deep, and about 3 1/2 ft tall. Small fan to keep them fluttering. Temps stays around 73°, humidity fluctuates from 40-50%.

Some pics as of 2 days ago.

I started on nutes at 20% strength on 4/27, and have up'd it a bit with each feeding. The last feeding was 40%, and no signs of yellowing. They're started flowering, and are starting to stretch more now, growing an 1-2" per day. May set up a screen soon and scrog them.

If anyone see's anything that I'm doing right/wrong, or could be doing better please let me know. Thanks for reading.

If they are flowering under 24/0 light then they must be autos, what strain are they?

I'd like to put them on a 20/4 schedule, but can't until the weather warms up. If I do it now it'll get down to 60 or below in the cabinet.

The strain is Cash Crop from COTP

Those are auto seeds, you can grow them on 24 7 light from start to finish if you want.

So I get home from work, and checked on the girls to see that while there was growth on all 3 of em, plant #3 hit a growth spurt. The lights were 1-2" away from the tops last night, and #3 had outgrown the light, and had fan leaves above the top of the fixture.

Then while raising the lights, I saw some discoloration on the leaves of all 3 girls. My 1st thought was that 40% was indeed a bit too much, and to step back to 35% after letting them cleanse and rest with regular water, but it doesn't really look like any of the nute burn pics that I've seen. That said, this is all new to me, so I really don't know. I'll throw some pics up for the more experienced to look at.

Put some side lighting in today. Brings the total wattage to 333w

I would lay those lights right on that screen. As long as you have a fan blowing in the general direction and moving air, you can get those cfls almost touching your plants.
Looks like most of the side light is hitting the ground.

I think it something with the camera on my phone. It's making things look really dark. The lights are actually penetrating through to the middle. I'll be checking on them shortly. I'll play with my phone, and see if I can get better pics.

Here's a much better pic closer up. Should I be worried about the yellow tips? They got their 1st feeding with bloom nutes a day or 2 ago at a little under 30% strength.

Ok folks, I'm back and could use some help. On Friday, I came home and noticed yellowing on two of the plants near the new lights. I unhooked the new lights because it looked like they were bleaching the leaves. Since Friday, those leaves got worse, and I've had to prune a few, and I found a few new ones.

I was thinking an N deficiency, but there's a couple leaves at the top that are the same way.

Yeah looks N hungry, I like to feed mine calmag and veg nutes until the 2 to 3 week flower stretch is done.

I always thought that an N deficiency caused the yellowing to start at the bottom, and work up. My 1st grow, so it's good to learn that. I'm a bit relieved to see that too. I gave them a feeding with some more N a few hours ago, and was worried I may have caused problem if it were something else.

The yellow leaves are a bit more wilted and sickly looking since that pic was taken on Friday. I was trying to only prune the worst ones being an auto. Should I just leave the rest until they fall off, or prune them to focus the plants energy on healthy growth?

lose the screen. Its not doing you any good. Those plants arent gonna stretch much more and your screen is to high.you dont have enough side vertical growth or lighting to spread buds out over a canopy.Take my word on it.Pull that screen up and let them grow the way they want.if anything the screen is blocking some light and circulation.
those yellow leaves at the bottom are normal for autos.leave them on till they get entirely yellow and almost want to fall off.Your plant is taking nitrogen from them.If you pull them to soon it will take from other areas.your first grow in coco i say you did really good man.Not gonna pull no elbow off 3 plants but it looks like your gonna have a nice jar full.

exactly this.autos still need nitrogen during there stretch because they are officially still growing.I wouldnt dump a bunch of nitrogen in there now i think its a little to late.Next time keep them on grow nutes till they finish stretching.Measure the branch lengths and when it starts to slow down hit them with the bloom goods.

Thanks. After looking at some other grows of this strain, I thought it would fill out more of the screen. It's only about 50% filled, if that. The screen is 8" above the pots. Next time I'll drop it down to around 5". The screen is only really still there for a way to hang side lighting.

You have to add the screen b4 flip and tuck and wind branches until the stretch is over.

What I did was put the screen in, and when the top of the plants reach it, I moved the tops over one space. When they'd grow a couple inches, I'd move them another space. Did the same with the side shoots when they got to the screen. I was having to move most sites about once a day for a bit, then they slowed down, and wasn't getting much more growth. Maybe an inch every few days, and I switched over the bloom nutes.

Since the yellowing I started giving them their N again at every other watering, but I'm still getting 3-4 new leaves each day that are yellow and wilting at various spots from top to bottom on pant's 1 and 2. Plant 3 is still plenty green.

They're 9 weeks in on Wednesday. I used a set of binoculars reversed to try an get a look at the trich's, and from what I can see they're still ckear. I have a 60x loupe on the way to get a better look. Would I be wise to start flushing now, or wait?

It's a good learning experience for sure. I'll take what I learn with this grow and apply it to the next, which will be 3 Auto #1 seeds for my 2nd grow, then I'll pop my 3 Cindy 99's.
