First air layering attempts.
Using rock will and rooting hormone.
Scratched off a small amount of tissue with a razor, not all the way around the stem.

Further bulletins as events warrant

Should be coming down this weekend.
The row of three in the middle should be the following weekend or the next after.

This will be a very, very long week. : /

Air layers are moist still. I might give them a squirt of water today. I've never used rock wool so I'm not sure of its holding ability. Graft tape should be here soon.

I'm going to have to take cuttings this week. I have room for five more plants but have six that need to be cut, so I have to wait until the end of the week in order to remain inside my plant count.

Blumat system arrived!
Cut down three. Let them get around 5% amber. Curious to see the difference there. Left them in the dark for 24 hours. Noticed they seemed start growing new flowers? Not sure if that was just coincidence or not, may try a diminishing light cycle one of these runs.

Took 8 cuttings, 4 pineapple, 2 black indica, 2 gdp #1.

The sensi star is showing an interesting trait/mutation, bumping out two stems instead of one. It's creating an ultra dense plant, and staying very compact also. It will be tricky to even take a cutting from it. I'll have to try next week, after the next three come down.

Black indica went in to flower.

Waiting for the pineapple to branch out some more first, give it a week or more maybe.

Added 10ml water to the air layers.

Pineapple and gdp#1 and 2 la og affie went into flower tent.

Took three affie out for harvest. Interestingly there's purple forming in the flower in the two of three plants.
I'll need to check when I take cutting next if a particular mother has this tendency or is environmental.

If you have an a/c running all the time or your temp drop gets around 10 degrees lower than your day time temps you'll usually get purple, some strains just have it in them to do that too

34C to about 21C at night.
Should get lower on both sides as fall arrives.

It's just the two that went purple. The other four remained green or cannibalised.

Burned through your grow log in about 45 min. Subbed.

I'm glad I didn't have to learn indoor first. That's one heck of curve. Mostly outdoor where I am. Most any idiot can stick em in the ground, add water, and up comes a pretty decent plant. It's a bit more with us who need larger yields, but still, much more forgiving.

Good grow log. I'll stay tuned. Thanks.

Glad to have you aboard!
I wish I could do outdoor here. I suppose I could with autos but I don't get sun in my yard plus they'd get stolen for sure.

Went and trimmed up the three la affie last night. I was displeased to find one top with a small about of mould : (
I think I'll go back to drying in the tent, it's far warmer and faster.

I'm guessing between 3 & 4oz. I'll weigh it tonight after its sweat a little. Bagged and jarred it. It will get maybe an hour of sun where it's sitting.

Ran out of time last night so didn't get a chance to hang the next three.

I think I'm going to take a couple cuttings of the clone mothers and then flower out the moms, they are just such big bushy bitches. I really want to see what would happen.

34c is pretty hot! How's the humidity. My room was getting to 32c and humidity was sometimes in the 60's. to hot and to humid, I ended up getting a little mold, lost four tops:speechless:. Gonna fix that issue this round, bought a nice exhaust fan and carbon filter. What's your plan for that heat?

It won't be an issue once summer is over, but I am looking at a 6" fan and have acquired an ac unit as well. I think a better intake fan might be in order as well, I might pipe the exhaust air into another room as well instead of dumping it behind the tent as well.

First cut showing roots in only a week. Gdp#1.

My cloning tray was actually dry this morning, I kind of neglected it. The oasis cube still had water in them but the bottom of the tray was bone dry.

Mixed up some amendments into the soil from the affie I took down, potting two affie cuts from small pots today and taking cuts from sensi star and gpd#2 & #3
