Alright so I have been talking crap for a few weeks now on getting this going I have had the system a few weeks and it has just taken a lot of time to piece all the necessary items together and last night I finally got it pretty much set up. CC 6XL system in a 5x10 tent. 8"Max Fan 670 cfm or something, 1000 w/switchable lighting system on a mover. I have a 20lb Co2 tank for injection and an electric manifold and 1/10 hp chiller.
Right now there is the 900gph pump I put in the system but I think I need to drop down to the 350 gph they gave me or get a 500gph one since the 900 is too much 'current' I keep hearing and will draw roots into the pipes too quickly and maybe cause clogging. Plus the chiller needs lower flow to work properly although my water temp is 66 degrees already. That airpump it came with is the loudest darn thing, anyone else have that issue? Its an AP-40 I believe.
I have never run Co2 before or any system this high tech. I made an aeroponic system before this and just got so so results and it was a lot of work changing out the rez each week once the plants got big.
I need to get hydroton, set-up the co2, find some killer cuttings, and get a fan in that tent for airflow. I would love some ideas or tips on my air circulation in there with the co2 if you have any??
I have an adaptor in the master bath right next to the tent I just run a hose from and it goes right into the epicenter for easy top off. I will be topping off with just tap and nute up from there. I have a tri-meter for PPMs, Temp, and PH. I need to get the cal. buffer solution to cal the meter first. I also want to adjust my fan to draw its air from the window direction behind the tent since its been nice and cold out (was 23 degrees other night!)
I have so much to still learn but its okay this is how you do it. I am mortified of having some sort of flood as this room is upstairs above my kitchen :doh the toilet in that master bath slowly leaked out of the tank and was dripping down in my kitchen over the weekend LUCKILY my buddy was here and caught it and shut it off. I did not have anything fully setup except the tent and the buckets layed out so I tried to fix the toilet but called my rental agency to fix it because I didnt give a shit if a plumbing company came because he can mind his own damn business while I get ready to grow my "organic vegatable garden" in that tent..:whew, when I called a guy called back who was actually WITH the rental agency so I quickly said I had fixed the toilet so they would not come...lol ugh, even with no plants in there they KNOW what I would be doing, and I really would not give a shit since I am a medical grower with my doctor recommendation except I specifically signed a paper on my lease there would be NO grow or smoking here... Riiiiiiiiiight. So I just shut off the water to the shitter and fix it later. The float valve leaks.
I have a bunch of cool seeds I will start to pop and grow as potential mothers around the extra area (if there is any, you know how these UC grows turn out, tent will be fucking STUFFED I hope). Going to Oaksterdam to get some good genes after Turkey day. I will be training the plants to be stout and fat bitches.
Running H&G nutes, got roots excellurator which is AWESOME shit btw. Have some Canna Gold A&B also, still need to dial in a specific feeding schedule and exactly what I will use for whatever specific strain I end up getting. I pretty much have NO help, I have a very intuitive buddy but he always talking like he knows everything so I gotta do a lot on my own so it does not end up HIS way only. I take constructive criticism and feedback well though.
ANY idea, help, donations ;-) for this Disabled Veteran would be great. I am ALWAYS looking to maximize and make this top notch set-up. I want to thank CCH2O for their support and incredible deal they tossed me. All you guys on here are amazing and I really been inspired by Jack, and all you other huge growers. One day when I win the fuggin lottery maybe I can get a room like that LOL.
Wont be updates for a few days so I will be taking a weeks worth of ideas, support, possible changes, and criticism before I throw in the clones, including ideas on what ones I decide I might throw in there. ALL IDEAS AND THOUGHTS WELCOME. :party0023:
Oh yes and my crazy boxer puppy Rusty decided to be a camera whore! I do not condone getting animals high but I told my old roomie NOT to do it to my dog and when he did Rusty marched straight up to HIS room, pushed the door open, jumped on his bed, pulled his pillow down, and pissed about a gallon on it and then came back downstairs and fell asleep. He NEVER has pissed in the house before, it was so comical he literally said "FUCK YOU FOR GETTING ME HIGH DICK" hahahaha Alright enough rambling. Wish me the best of luck please, I am nervous about shit going wrong.
