Blue Tara (purple pheno) grown all organic
Bodhi seeds: bubbashine x snow lotus
Had a decent amount of this which i started testing after about six weeks solid curing on to 3+ months. Flowering was started around the beginning of december 2014.
Appearance: probably the best bag appeal of any bud ive grown. Extreme frost with lots of purple everywhere. Big indica type heads on the glands give it a real frost look.Forgive my picture skills pics in the grow room are at 68 days flower and i used a green photoperiod light so take that into account. I pulled her at 72 days this is from seed. The other pics are post chop before trim and drying.
Smell: definitely takes smell from the bubba rich earthy chocolate with a little hash and a subtle background of a floral lavender.

Taste: the taste is like a 50/50 mix of what i can best describe as grape bubble tape and a very floral lavender with hints of rose pettle and lingers heavily at the roof of the mouth after exhale. The smoke is extremely thick dense and gobby. Theres alot of expansion but its sooo smooth at the same time. it doesnt hit the lungs hard when the hit settles at all. It tastes like the color purple like something out of the wonka factory.

Effect: its a head smacker but its like getting smacked with a big soft purple cloud the terpenes really add to the effect. The cloud settles to a strong but mellow narcotic medical effect but is still heady. i believe it gets alot of its effect from the bubba with more potency and a little added sativa effect from the blue moonshine side.

Notes. She took alot after the bubba growth wise in veg . Slow vertical veg growth and huge wide fan leaves. Very easy to grow almost all indica extremely stable but likes lower nutes compared to most strains as have most phenos from this blue tara pack due to the blueberry influence. This pheno can handle over feeding pretty well though much better than her sister pheno. She has tight nodes is very branchy the branches were extremely vigourous and pretty thick but bended easily and shot outward and up and way past the top of the plant. Now i was giving them alfalfa teas which can definitely help increase branch growth but this plant was insane with it. There was a suprising amout of stretch at flower actually quite a bit more than her sister pheno 2 to 2.5 times id say and the branches loved being bent cut scrogged and tied down all that stuff seemed to really increase yield which i attribute to the blueberry side. The buds were thick very dense pop can bubba like buds that started forming real fast and the frost started early. And prolly the most unique feature of this plant was the natural purple coloring. From the very beginning of veg the main stalk and every branch and shoots had the most beautiful dark purple striping running all the way down them. the bud calyxes started to turn purple at the tips from very early on in flower with temps that were 75-78 degrees and kept changing making for very purple frosty thick chunky buds. She ended up yielding very well thanks to the stretch the vigorous branches the trainig ability and the bud density. Got close to 6 zips with a 2.5 month veg in a lazy semi scrog under 2000w with 6 other plants. Id give her an above average yield but not super huge.
