Ph vs nutrient abilities of marijuana plants

Something about that chart doesn't make sense to me. On the soil side, how is it even possible that iron and manganese are completely unavailable in the proper range? Don't plants at least need a trace supply of those elements and wouldn't all soil plants show a deficiency without them?

So I looked it up myself. Unless there is a legend that explains that those are the "best" ranges for uptake, and you've neglected to post it with the illustration, then that chart is wrong and you shouldn't be using it.

Here's an example of a proper and useful elemental uptake chart from the Cannabis Encyclopedia.

Nute burn, nothing to do with your pot size. Just give plain water till you get normal growth again

Really, that's what you see? I'm not even going to bother then.
If u look at the range, 6-6.8, it’s availble and better illustrated then the fish bone range you pulled from the book. It’s essentially the the same if the soil ph is within said range, maybe zoom into the chart and u will see the range. It’s worked for my few plants I grow

I guess I should mention I'm using bottled spring water :P

My well water is way, way too hard to use and since I'm a first time grower just doing soil (poorly :P) I figured it'd be unnecessary to spend 200 on an RO system this early on.

Now if you really wanna get to the nitty gritty then this chart is more Informative

Now, that's what I'm talking about. Why aren't you using this chart in the first place? The other chart you posted says those are the ranges of nutrient availability, when it should say "optimal" or "best" nutrient availability. It makes it look like those elements are no longer available outside of those ranges and can be confusing to a new grower. Since those tend to be the people you are trying to help on here you should take into consideration that they may not know anything yet. When counseling new growers we need to avoid using short hand, grower lingo, or incomplete charts.

Seeing some improvement since I gave it a good plain watering then a 25% feeding at a lower pH ^_^
