I make infused milk also, but I use ice water hash. You can make it exponentially stronger and it will hardly taste like cannabis at all. You can even strain the hash after infusing, but I like the spicy aspect it brings to edibles. I make caramel mostly, and the hash acts as a flavoring agent. Raw cannabis, BHO, ISO and CO2 extraction all leave an unpleasant flavor on the palate, water hash does not seem to.
I've never have had hash. HHmmm.. something new to try. I'm new to the Cannabis World. The first time I ever tried Cannabis was at age 41. Stressful job at the time.
