Cant Get To My Alerts With New Interface

I click the cutout of a person with number of alerts. I click the cut out and a menu shows up.

none of the options takes me to the alerts.

I am using an android phone. Previous Android operating system.

Same here shit SUCKS, but hey its new an fresh right?!?!? Its a great drop down menu when I touch the red.....

Maybe clear cookies on droid? I seem to have all the same functionality on my note 4 that i have on my pc.screen shot of the phone/droid,click on the lightning bolt to the right of the envelope looking thing and alerts pop right up.

What lighting bolt? The only work around for ME so far is to hold device sideways. I get no bolt till I do that. When I turn device back to portrait mode it goes away, thats y I took screenshot

well i clean out my cookies and cache about once a week on my phone and i just did an update so maybe thats why my shit works fine ;)
