Im setting up for making oil and will be evaporating solvents off ( Isopropyl Alcohol )
I wanted to know will the evaporating solvents be held within the filter or will they just pass through capturing any smells that may be produced by the warm canna oil.

I will answer only because nobody else has. I have no experience making oil.

The answer is NO.

Theres catalytic oxidation and condensation.

Just run the vent pipe out a window and call it good.

That looks familiar.
Was referring to condensation method. Often times I can be quite poor at being clear in my replies.

That looks like a pricey unit I personally would do as you suggested and just vent outside.

i have tried the most popular methods...co2, butane, and alcohol.

for me, i get the same results using cold water.

get a 5 gallon bucket, dump all your Frozen material..add as much ice as u can...let it sit for 10 min...stir around once and a while till u see " soapy water"...filter and boil off the rest. once u get to the good stuff, lower heat.
