4k= flower or veg.
3k = flower

Veg need more blue light than red for optimum growth. For flower you can get away with a 4k from seed to chop with pretty much same weight, but should get more trich coverage.

I posted in the wrong spot. I realized why my veg sucked this round. 3k bulb for veg is not as good. My stellar 315 CMH round used my 550 watt mcob to veg and it has more blue in the spectrum.

And my timber is 3500k so i didnt notice much of a difference. EUREKA indeed.

I will veg with my mcob and then swap over to 315 CMH or get a 4k bulb and suplement the side with a vero 3500. Then i can swap bulbs at flower or after the transition from veg to flower.

1 bulb is not too expensive and if i sold the mcob i think i can get a 2VL vero and the bulb for the sale.
