Curious Use Of Cannabis Taxes

Oregon sets aside 20 percent of its pot taxes for "local law enforcement" in cities and counties, plus another 15 percent for state police. But Oregon does not direct police to use that money to investigate black-market pot operations.

Another interesting find @indicabush! Good to see you around! It will be interesting to see follow ups from Colorado.

I find this quote from the article interesting:

"A dozen raids across southeast Colorado in 2016 led federal authorities to seize more than 22,000 pounds (10,000 kilograms) of marijuana they said were intended for out-of-state sale."

Thats a lot of weed, probably inflated, but it makes me wonder if southeast Colorado is the only place they did raids? Interesting that they singled that tidbit out.

Took the drones out today haven't flown them in a quite a while. Smirked quite a bit thinking about the FAA...and yes good to still see you around.
