It's three weeks in and flowering has yet to begin which is good. Both are growing vigorously and bushy. I've been removing 1-2 fan leaves a day this week and exposing the branches to plenty of air and light. NL2 is bushy and having more leaves get removed but judging from the sides of the pot has more root growth going on. I have increased the amount of feeds to 8x a day to get ready for the stretch. No deficiencies or issues I'm loving it.

They are now being fed full strength MaxiBloom and CaliMagic. Just switched my reservoir to a 35 gallon tote and found the best light distance to be 16". No signs of issues but I think I'll stay at 6.2 ph until the end. The NL2 is going to need more defoliation with its broad fan leaves. I was expecting nute burn at some point but thankfully it didn't happen even at 1500 ppms.

They didn't look happy this morning so I changed some things. I don't think they enjoyed above room temperature feedings nor did I enjoy the weird Ph and PPM readings. I took the res out the tent, moved fans around(I got another 18" box fan), cleaned the floor, raised the temperature back to mid 80's, and did some lst.

Main stem is being trained around the pot while branches are being trained around the pot in the opposite direction. It's causing a lot of light to get in and I've been pruning large fan leaves from the branches with 2-4 nodes and leaving only the top most fan leaves on the main stem.

Looking at both plants there's differences in the fan leaves and the way the branches are growing. NL1 has long thin side branching from the side branches with longer narrow leaf sets but its main branches and stems are thick. NL2 has short wide leaves that crowd pretty fast with less side branching but it's stems get thickwoody fast.

I increased the feed times because runoff had gotten tobe a very small amount, less than 10% after 8 waterings.

I let the temps purposely rise higher, brought the light down to 12", and chilled the reservoir. Their color and growth looks better than it did at the lower temperatures with NL1 over taking the pot finally. NL2 is now smaller than NL1 with less branching and less foliage. All the leaves are a nice deep dark green with slight folding on the leaves and a green mass going to pray to the 600 watts. Once the res was chilled my ppm dropped to 1300 from 1500 and the ph is stable now.

Day 25 - 12 hours later

I pruned and super cropped. I pruned all the fan leaves from the first node of all the large branches and the rest from the main stem except for the very top two nodes. I super cropped because I snapped my main stem on NL2 two weeks ago and the stem is significantly thicker than NL1.

NL1 is showing pistils at 25 days so excited.

NL2 still not showing pre flowers and the super crop on its main stem is okay. NL1 main stem super is fine as well. They are pretty short probably not even 6" tall and their color is beautiful. They are loving the high heat and humidity.

NL2 does not have pre flowers. Still trying to get it trained. NL1 is going perfect with more pistils developing. Had to order more ph down and the two part KoolBloom is on its way. I brought super crop porn tho. I still have six weeks~ to go but I would love to get another week of veg out of both of them.

I thought back on any mistakes I made this grow but this has went really well for my second time. I'm running Sweet Soma and Afghan Mass next run but I'm planning on getting a second 600 watt cool tube and having the 400cfm fan extract for both.honestly I want to run eight and just do the California Kush and Kush as well but I want 1200w if I did it.

I've been gradually allowing my ph to rise to 6.2 where I'll keep it the rest of the grow so I'm there. I think NL1 has begun to stretch and it's still making pre flowers. NL2 has no pre flowers and no problems. Defoliated a bit especially side branches that weren't making it to the top and miscellaneous fan leaves growing towards the bottom of the stems. I switched NL2 back to directly under the bulb side and it's growth is looking better. I wish they would stretch at the same time.

I defoliated. No pre flowers on NL2. NL1 still just showing pre flowers. Maybe they'll veg another week before they decide to flower? Maybe. Idk.

They recovered from being super cropped. That's a win I guess. I swear NL1 stretched but NL2 is an ugly plant but that's my fault. Maybe. I tucked many a leaf on NL2 but no appreciation. It's lopsided with a branch that had refused to stay level. I super cropped it again. NL1 is my favorite.

I dropped my ph to 6.0, I don't think 6.2 was okay. Filled the res and ran out of Floralicious+.

I thought they would be bigger but NL1 grew a grew inches after showing pre flowers while NL2 is still not showing. They didn't mind all the pruning yesterday and the branch I super cropped is knuckled up already. Came home to the tent covered in water because the drip lines came out but I just left the water and mounted the fans. NL1 is starting to smell like something. I would hate to have to force NL2 into flowering. I super cropped NL2 again on its non cropped branches and once higher on the big branches. I didn't crop the main stem again and I left NL1 alone to not stress it.

I read through another's grow log for this same strain but his went 100+ days so maybe I'll see something by the end of the week or next week.f.

Training day for NL2 and leaf tucking for NL1. NL1 is looking good getting more hairs but I don't believe the stretch has occurred just yet. NL2 had not been easy to get a flat canopy on and when I have it's leaves or so wide that it's been either defoliation or more lst which I don't really want to do more of.

I've cleaned all the lower branches on both 2-3 nodes from the bottom of weak bud sites and fan leaves that were never going to get light. NL1 is done training. NL2 has had a bit more super cropping done and tied down to the grates over the drip pan while the neglected parts get plenty of light. It seems like they are drinking a bit more now. When I first started feeding 8 times I had a lot of runoff after two days but it's taking almost the entire minute now to drip out.

I redid my set up after the drip lines leaked all over the floor. Mounted the fans up high getting amazingcirculation and left the several gallons of water on the floor. I don't really have a fresh air exchange so with all the water and damp towels the humidity controller has been exchanging air several times a day now.

NL1 is drinking heavier than NL2 now and seems to have developed a bunch of leaves and I think is taller but for the most part has kept a flat canopy. NL2 did wellwith the lst and double super cropping. Canopy is flat now. Starting to get a slight smell on NL1 but no pre flowers from NL2 maybe it will end up bigger than NL1.

Trained NL1 and it turned out nice. I don't know when I'm going to start seeing pre flowers on NL2 but I think it's getting big(?). Had to raise the light to fit both plants. Resisting the urge to defoliate.

I just keep training them and super cropping them. I honestly enjoy it and I should have cropped NL1 twice like NL2. Trained NL2 because I can't handle the bushy bushy and I think it looks better now. I don't know if I could fit more than four in this tent.

Cleaned and refilled the res with 15 gallons of 188 ppm tap water followed by Floralicious+, CaliMagic, MaxiBloom, RapidStart, and KoolBloom. Switched my HPS bulb in and to my surprise the next morning NL2 was throwing pistils.

Ppm was increased due to KoolBloom and it has been 4 feedings since then with no burn thankfully. No real issues to speak of. Did some very light pruning on NL1 and have pretty much left NL2 alone after the lst. Eight feeds a day and after draining the two gallon waste pans I'm barely getting any waste from a one minute drip. They're drinking well especially NL1 who I had to drip for three minutes to even get runoff.

Once they start forming calyxes I'm going to turn on the exhaust fan for the light and drop the humidity to 60/50% ppm
the rest of the grow and run my other exhaust 24/7 to filter the goodness.

NL1 has started stretching and NL2 is rapidly growing pistils. Everything seemed to change when I turned on the HPS and started feeding them liquid KoolBloom. NL1 is starting to have this dank coffee smell to it and NL2 is just starting to smell. NL1 is kind of crowding so I raised the light up a bunch more. I only did half strength KoolBloom but I might increase it I don't know. 80-90 day strain so I supposedly have 40-50ish days(4-6 weeks) left.
