The pots were dry an inch down this morning so I checked my drip system and it was fine. I increased the feed times as I haven't been getting runoff. NL1 is stretching and got defoliation lightly. NL2 is getting pistils everywhere and starting to stretch and received a heavy defoliation. NL2 had such broad leaves whereas NL1 has long thin ones and overall less bunching despite being so much bigger. Removed all the lower bud sites that I hadn't super cropped or that were too low and removed a bunch of fan leaves.

I have dropped the temps about eight degrees andlowered my humidity a bit and I'll probably run this for another week then bring the humidity down to 55-62% and leave it there until the end.

They are drinking heavily to where my multi feeds for one minute had let the coco dry out. I had seen some leaves start getting something looking like nute burn and I hadn't gotten really any runoff inn a few days. Came home and had to let the drip go for ten minutes(wasn't any runoff for 9 minutes) to saturate the coco again. Bumped the feed time up to two minutes but even then I'm not getting a whole lot of runoff.

NL2 was put on a box tho match NL1 height by about six inches. For the last time I gently super cropped everything just crushing the hurd rather than splitting the stems likelast time. Both have started stretching but NL2 is bushy and suffered either ph or light issues slightly thatdiscolored some leaves so I raised the light. Pistils areforming rapidly and the stretch has been noticeable.

Did some lst and more defoliation. Accidentally super cropped a branch on NL1 but it's fine I guess lol. Pictures are before lst and defoliation and after shots. Dropped my RH to let my carbon filter run.

Res got down from 15 gallons to 3 yesterday(filled last Sunday) and I had a ph swing at 6.7. Color on some leaves was dark and weird looking but I made a fresh res with full strength KoolBloom and eased up on the MaxiBloom for a 1260 ppm and a 6.0 ph. Bathroom pics cause I know pics under the hps look bad. There are 40ish bud sites per plant at the moment and I'm guessing NL1 is more of a sativa leaning while NL2 is more indica dominant.

The light is sitting at 18" and it seems like the stretch is over. Still not getting much runoff when watering for two minutes x 8 but they drank 12ish gallons in less than a week.

I'm wondering weather to train autos as I'm going to give them a go. Maybe just lst? Or is topping worth doing? I don't want to slow them too much case I stunt them.

You can top them but if you don't have height limitations then I see no reason. These have been lst'd and super cropped on every branch 1-2 times. I felt I had to train and defoliate with the broad leaves and lots of branching. They both have 40+ bud sites after trimming lower branches that couldn't penetrate tube canopy.

I defoliated both removing all the fan leaves from the outside and and blocking bud sites. I'm pretty sure NL1 is done stretching since it started pre flowering ten days earlier. NL2 is still stretching a bit and I pulled several side branches inside the canopy that weren't getting enough light. The screen I accidentally super cropped on NL1 is healing up fine and might be completely fixed next week.

Six or more weeks to go. Excited to run the sweet soma and cheese strains in Growpito's Sim mix using DTW with hopefully 560w of quantum boards instead of this MH/HPS.

NL1 buds getting a bit bigger while NL2 is roughly 10 days behind but budding. Defoliated NL2 for hopefully the last time and cleaned the tent up. Measured NL1 at 2ft tall and almost 3ft wide. NL2 measuring at 22" tall and 28" wide. Temperature dropping a bit more since I increased fan speeds.

I am incredibly pleased with my second grow and my first autos.

Super cropped every single branch on both plants. Cool and crazy thing is how strong the stems have gotten to where I just can't pinch them so those were left alone. . I didn't notice until last night but the cropped branches get hard as fuck to the point I would have to go high up to do it and the stems are so stiff. Took some stem shots because they are way thicker than the ones from my first grow.

I lightly defoliated NL1 because it just didn't need much. I removed all the pebbles briefly to see the main stem and my root situation. The buds are getting thicker and starting to go down.

Just refilled the res and I'll say 1200 ppm but probably tomorrow it will be 1500.

Bud sites getting bigger and I think NL2 stopped stretching as it's 1/2" shorter than NL1 but still smaller in general. My prediction as an optimist

NL2 - 8oz

Nothing else really going on that I can tell. They aren't growing more leaves and I believe I defoliated them well. Ever since flowering NL2 has been taco'ing pretty hard so I'll raise the humidity back to 60-65%. I ran out of Floralicious... Again. Due to my recent discovery of General Hydroponics attitude towards cannabis and their being owned by a nefarious company I will be switching to MegaCrop for my next grow.

Having salt build up issues so I increased the feed time since I was getting hardly any runoff again. Calyxes are continuing to develop and super cropping seems to have only been beneficial thus far with super hard and strong stems. Not sure when to start the dry portion of KoolBloom so I haven't. I thought increasing the humidity would fix the taco on NL2 but it didn't. I'm going to leave the humidity for now because the temps returned to normal but I'll drop it in a week or two. Running my fans on high and nothing special to report.

Got some frosty shots. Had some rust colored spots but I'm guessing they are from salt build up when I wasn't getting runoff. Temperature dropped in the tent for whatever reason but humidity remained in range so yeah. All these pictures are NL1 as NL2 is probably 10 daysbehind so I'm looking at a harvest mid October or so. In hindsight I might have harvested my first grow too early.

I'm concerned about NL2 that despite being ten days younger isn't producing buds as heavily or close to NL1 and it's resin production is less than half of NL1. I had some ph issues with both due to under watering but I get this extreme taco effect on the upper half of the plant. I've dropped the feed strength to 1100 from 1500 so I'll see what happens then but they are both still drinking quite a lot but I'm not seeing equal or similar results in flowering. Root mass is insane on both with strong thick stems that recover quickly from light super cropping but maybe it's because they are two different phenos that I'll see increased budding much later for NL2 rather than sooner like NL1.

Environment is in check with everything in VPD range and ideal ranges for flowering. Never fed to the point of nutrient burn. I even bought an IR thermometer and checked the leaf surface temperature and they all ranged between 74-78f. NL2 has always had taco leaves but the green doesn't look right to me on the upper half.

Cleaned out the reservoir and did some half strength MaxiBloom with full strength dry KoolBloom and half strength CaliMagic.

NL1 -
Buds getting dense and filling out from top to bottom on upper canopy. Mid canopy still fattening up while lower parts of canopy are pop corn that is getting dense. Removed more fan leaves.

NL2 -
Removed more fan leaves. Everything is budding and filling out but not looking too dense. It's two weeks behind NL1 and it shows but it is also bigger.

Buds are packed, stacked, and getting heavy. I have several branches on both plants heading towards a 90° angle, already there, or past it at this point. The super cropping turned out well and left my branches strong enough to hold the bud. Currently running CaliMagic, KoolBloom dry, and MaxiBloom at 650 ppm.

I get hints of fruit, coffee, rotten fruit, and something like vitamins. Still no amber trichomes but NL2 had a few more weeks than NL1 to go anyway plus it grew larger with more bud sites. It is very sticky and coated in resin.

NL1 is on the left and NL2 on the right.
