I used to use a 20 dollar bucket shop vac from home depot to suck the water out of trays, but now I'm running a 20 gallon res and the water just falls down from the flood table back to the res.[/QUOTE

I have got a solution for the runoff, will update tomorrow

ok posting some pic. have attached tubes to the tray under the pot, have slightly tilted the tray
the base is 4inch high from the bottom of the grow box. the runoff come out to the collection tray from the gravity due to the elevated height.
