Elite Ultimate Chem 08 and Magic Monkey 12/12 From Seed and Deep Water Cooler

My first DWC and I wanted to see what 12/12 from seed could do since I have seen many dank threads and pics of this growing stlye. I had planned on just running my Magic Monkey's but a friend gifted quite a few of Elite S1 beans, so I said what the hell. :smiley_joint:

Magic Monkey (Magic Merlin[f] x Gorilla Grape[m] from Outlaw Gentics)
Current PH = 5.8
PPM = 1100
H2O = 64F
Day 62 from seed. Week 5 bloom.
Topped on Day 14 from seed at 2nd node for 4 colas.
1 Indica pheno - 20" and 2 Sativa phenos - 25" & 27"
Started 4 beans and got 1 male that was culled. :character0110:

Elite Ultimate Chemdog 08 S1's (Friend made the S1's)
Current PH = 5.8
PPM = 950
H2O = 64F
Day 44 from seed. Week 2 bloom.
Topped on Day 10 from seed at 1st node for 2 colas.
Height range from 30" - 36" but had to pinch & bend to even the canopy.
Started 3 and got 3 NICE girls....what else from S1's ! lol :whew

The last 2 pics are the before and after of the Ultimate Chem's getting all the tops pinched and bent to even the canopy or try to at least.
The coolers are 12gal Igloo Marine w/ 10gal of water.
2 inch thick insulated styrofoam lids wrapped completely in Duck Aluminum Foil Tape w/ 5 inch pots.
Hydroton and rooter plugs (seeds started in) as medium.
Fed RezDog's Recipe of GH FloraMicro and Bloom w/ KoolBloom powder.

Had no idea what to expect since I've NEVER grown any Chem lines. Smoked my share of SVF OG though ! lol
Didn't clone, but something told me I should have cloned the girl up front.
Still have 28 beans though and thinking of doing a SCROG after this.

I was/am hoping for some colors on the Magic Monkey.
The mother (Merlin) had some nice purp to her.
Won't be shocked if it stays green though, since it is 50% DPD and it had just as many green phenos as purple.
Subcool said he like the green pheno of DPD beter b/c of taste and potency being better and higher than the purple DPD's.

Day 49 from seed and Day 14 Bloom
All 3 girls are 33 - 35 inches tall

Magic Monkey's on right.
Day 67 from seed and Day 37 Bloom.
Height is 20 - 27 inches for all 3.

I'm happy with the cross so far.
The 2nd to last pic is the only Indica dom pheno.
The last pic is one of the 2 Sativa dom phenos, which are no where near done and has at least another 3 - 4 weeks of bloom.

A few words of wisdom........
Some strains will hit a second growth faze after the middle half of bloom, and even a third on some Sativas.
That is the case with the tops of the Indica pheno you see. It's packing it on AGAIN and starting to foxtail as well.
We'll resume this convo in 3 weeks, which is CHOP CHOP.
