First SCROG grow, 600w hps, soil w/ amendments

Sup fellas,

Started growing about 18 months ago, starting my first scrog with 4 medium size plants
OG Kush - top right
Sugar Black Rose - top left
2x Strawberry Diesel - bottom

Day 9

The SBR is in a 10gallon and the roots were damaged during transplant so it's coming back to normal right now. Wish I could have vegd it more before I had to bring in the flower room but space and power are an issue at my grow spot. The rest are in 3 gal pots with Roots Organic Greenlite Soil mixed with about 20% coco loco.

Will probably change them into. 5 gal pots soon. Possibly 7 gal. This is my first run with MyCO2 bloom, it's self activated so it should be good for two months of high level output. I've got two 4inch vortex one at top of room as outtake and one intake at the bottom. And a square fan hanging pointed at the top of canopy. Temps ranging 78-82. Steady 50% humidity.

I'm using Heavy 16 nuts

Nice work brotherman. I have done both of those strains by HSO a few times. Really like what I got from there bubba but I have had better og phenos then the ones I got from them. I really like a pheno I found in a pack of their Lemon Thai as well. Tuff Nuggets man Rock On.

Thx my man, yeah the OG isn't the best OG I have seen I'm going to be changing it up soon with either Madman OG or Blackwater OG, ever run those?

Looking good bro! I'm pulling up a chair & sparkin' a phatty for your show! One of the better kushes I've run is Reserva Privada's Skywalker Kush. Very nice, rock hard nugs, mind-numbing potency and a surprisingly MUCH better yielder than typical kushes. I hear from growers I REALLY respect that their OG-18 is even better (except for yield)! Poppin through the net after one feeding, the 3 smaller pots are dry so going to feed fresh water and then transplant them I to bigger pots this week.

No bro...can't say I have. If you're not familiar with it, check out: http://en.seedfinder.eu/ It's a good resource for info on genetics & lineage of just about any strain you can think of! I actually have a smoke report on the Skywalker Kush there. If you search the SK, it should pop up along with others.

Your "next round" plants look much better bro! I'd still grab that new pH meter when ya can tho! ;) Things can pop up and then start to go sideways fast. An ounce of prevention....

Are you going to scrog them?

I've never scrogged, so anything I could offer is only book knowledge and not real world experience. I have found book knowledge to be widely varied in it's accuracy! Some of the shit that's published is just out and out wrong! Even in some of the more popular reference "bibles"!

There are probably some great threads here on scrogging that will give you allot better info then I could. You might also check out some of the threads and journals here from growers who are currently scrogging. I'd definitely recommend learning it from folks who are actually doing it! ;)Best of luck!!

Plan: I'm going to bush these out as much as possible then lollipop them a couple weeks before they go into flower. See how that strategy works out. That way I get my clones still and hopefully the plants have time to recoup unlike this batch I'm currently running.
