What a beating they took from rain, wind and low temps. Couple sunny days will help. The dwarf in front has last years genetics and seems the happiest.

Bending branches, gentle squeeze til it gives, careful not to split the “bark”. Plant sculpting on a cloudy day, juicy as celery!
Edit: fed unsulfured blackstrap molasses yesterday, tspn/gallon, shaken not stirred

First clones yesterday, scissor-cut branches that were covered by foliage, placed in water for a couple minutes while poking a hole in some wintered soil pots left out last year. Sprinkled some rooting hormone, scraped and cut the clones under water, dipped in hormone then planted. Two are outdoors in the shade under a clear plastic bin, and one is happily under 18/6 florescent cool-whites in the basement. Trimmed the leaves, a THCF tip.

Twists & turns. Single spacing nodes and already sexing in mid-May at around 90 days. They could be autos but i think taking them from 18/6 flourescent to 14/10 sunlight has turned them. Shoulda backed off the timer 15 minutes/week down to 14/10. Will reveg some clones. A male and two females so far.

Separated the male, only two females so far for some clones in my usual crap soil with rooting hormone and a squirt of honey, balanced precariously under a flourescent 18/6 to reveg.

Marking time: girls are strong getting a tablespoon of molasses or epsom salt per two gallons every day, sometimes twice. Tied branch tips down to the buckets. Clawing at night, probably from being rootbound. Clones are hardening in the shade, after a week under flourescents. Solo cups and zip lock baggies make perfect incubators.
Tick tock....

Chopped the male. Tap root does a circular thing Inside the ring from the original pot. Probably stunts growth just from being in a bucket but i think leaving that ring increases root capacity and temperature resistance.

Girls are good, had a bug scare but its just windblown pollen. Put a couple fans in a ziplock to see if anything crawled, it didnt. Hosed the plants and viola, long and strong. Tap watering heavily, a midseason douche as they start to pre-flower. Been nipping out lower sucker branches and cloning with a solo cup of soil and a ziplock for a cover, 18/6 under cfl.

And then there were three, gave away a beautiful rootbound female that i hope to see flowering in its new meadow someday. Have another hermie/male but the three main girls are doing well for all my abuse. Just water, molasses or epsom salt and a bit ot 10-35-10 orchid bloom i found.

Looking good! I’d bet you’d have some straight up trees by now if you had them some big ass pots. I wish I’d gone the clone route like you did to determine sex earlier on, still waiting on 2 to definitively show. Digging the grow!

What a journey!
Yeah, my remaining 3 females started flower two weeks ago and the bottom leaves are turning yellow, mostly from being rootbound since one i gave away has grown like a weed (middle photo). Finally put carpet around the buckets to fight the heat then rain saturated the soil to where i pulled them out at night to loosen the soil and aerate the roots. Out of town now but these are from two days ago.

Came back to three very sad droopy ladies last week. Direct sun, sparse watering, 90°+...hiroshima. Watered them til they squirted, lost nearly all fan leaves and black tips on the remaining few, as close as third from the tops which i took as either a deficiency or burn. Buds looked good, decent trichs, no aroma. Heavy flushing and pulling the plants out of the pots at night for a couple hours to dry and aerate the root mass stabilized them. Sprinkled some worm castings on one rootball but really havent seen a difference. Took a root plug to scope for bugs, none. Yellow leaves no longer fall off at the lightest touch. New growth looks good, two of the girls actually look like maryjane. The third has seriously foxtailed similar to two from last year. Shit ton of buds smothered in 1-3 blade leaves, probably from revegging. Top dressed with bone meal at some point but otherwise just water and covered the pots with cardboard to control the rainfall, they still read wet on the scale. Shook out a few whiteflies today but they wont last outdoors. Dry days ahead, just the race to the finish now. Bottom cuts and popcorn trim are decent potency. Starting to get the smell. Looking to get 6-8 oz plus trim.

Ouch, hopefully they recover well.
